Look at Tuomas when she pulls it out ALL the way to the end. The whole band knows what an incredible performance Floor is pulling off on this tour despite everything that happened and are visibly grateful for it. I'm following this band for a LONG time now and it never feeled as tight as it does now. They take care of each other and it shows. Saw them on Friday in Berlin and the crowd was giving the whole band, but especially Floor, all the love that we could and you could tell from her voice how touched she was. She even spoke German to us. 🥲

@@terminator272 that's not entirely true, Floor is Dutch and most dutch people speaks German, English and Dutch - including Floor. But her father helped her brushing off her German language, because she rarely uses it.

About Emppu here leaving stage first: he does that every time after Floor performs her outro. It's nice that people co-sympathizes with Floor, Emppu and the rest of the band, but in this case Emppu just does his usual routine leaving stage first. No drama nor extra behaviour by him here either.

I do not want to be the harbinger of tragedy here but I think we all know why the long faces. Cancer is no joke. Floor has a true warrior-mentality but it might be on the table to take a hiatus, or even leave the band to fully recover. Touring is stressful for the body and mind. These times must me nerve wrecking for the band - and it is definitely not the first time for them. All the best to the guys and Floor!!! Truly. I was a huge Nightwish fan as a teenager (I'm from Finland so kinda comes with the territory). Floor is still one of my favourite singers/personalities of all time. Bumped into her a few times when she lived in my small hometown of Joensuu. Just a _wonderful_ human being. 'Nuff said. She would always talk with elderly people who recognized her from the tabloids while buying groceries. Chatting about Nightwish and their new album casually like they were just smalltalking about the weather. Se was always laughing and smiling - never acting like a diva or anything like that. The whole town wanted her to succeed. We were sad when she moved away with her husband but the townsfolk got some great memories of her: everyone has a story.

They finish touring at the end of this month in Prague. She's fully cleared of it but is expected to have some therapy in the new year to make sure it stays away. I expect she'll probably take a few months, maybe even a year away like she did when she had Freyja. I expect Empuu was likely crying because like all of us, he's relieved she's still here. That and her voice being so incredible that you just can't help but feel emotional, especially when the song has so much more meaning to them all now. It's pretty clear the band love her to bits and I've never seen them this happy together. They'll all be fine.

I really do follow and understand why Floor wants to be touring. It's all about getting the positive kick back from the audience, to really feel deep inside how people love and wants you there. I am a cancer warrior myself, (pancreas cancer) - and all of us, who are fighting for our lives knows, how these happy thoughts, other people can create in our minds - are some of the most effective, to keep the bad emotional thoughts away, and help the mind / immune system effectively fight the cancer cells.

However, I do know a little bit about touring. I used to tour with my band and as a technician for a bunch of other more successful groups. The sad reality is that the positive part (the gig) is like two hours long. For that two hours you might have to wait, often jetlagged (drunk in the old days), for many days. Flights, more flights, travelling in busses, usually shitty food with a "tour schedule" (means "when you have time"). Hotels, Airports and the same repeats itself day after day. I really think it is not a healthy environment for someone going through a serious medical contition. This also drove Marco from the band and has made many others from different bands quit too. It is a life of uncertainty and stress. When you are young you almost enjoy the insanity of it all. It's like a crazy adventure around the world. But like you said, no doubt the prize makes it all worth it. Performing is a drug like no other. Surely good for you. I was just thinking, that Floor might want to stick to her solo projects for a while. She gets to be onstage and does not have to be a part of the whole tour circus. She has many projects that are big in the Netherlands. Let us all hope for the best! Health scares are always something that makes one stop and think things in life with a fresh attitude. Finally saw them at birmingham in november after years of trying. What a show what a band. What a singer Floor is. Her voice is epic. The show was breathtaking. I don't think NightWish with Floor will be bettered by any band. Truly awesome.

Floor just went through surgery for cancer, she's cancer free and but still in treatment, these last couple of shows have been really emotional for them

He has a very soft spot for Floor (as everyone else) so having to deal with the initial shock that she had cancer, to now see her here, all mighty and powerful, healthy, must have hit him hard, he and Floor are besties after all and the big C is not something to mess with, fortunately for Floor, they stopped it in time for her to have a full recovery. Tuomas had a different reaction, he looks so happy and proud of his friend for overcoming that obstacles without a hitch, the overall appreciation of the guys over Floor is something so wholesome and sweet to watch

Floor is having to take a break for a while to recover. She just had surgery to remove cancer but is still in treatment. She's so strong and so brave and such a beautiful soul and kind person. Many prayers for her recovery from here in the US. I hope to see the band live one day out here in Louisiana or Texas once she's all better. There's many great doctors out here

Such dramatic title for this little snippet. I think Emppu is just feeling hot and little uncomfortable after a long show.He has a shirt and a jacket and is playing among the pyros. He doesn't look sad to me. Emppu does his usual thing here. Tuomas is smiling because yet another show went smoothly. People read too much into things. Ofcourse they all care about Floor but not every little gesture and thing is because of her.

I do not understand why they have invented that Emmpu is affected and that is why he leaves the stage, when the reason is not that, in fact when Floor's voice breaks at the end of the song Sleeping sun Emmpu does not even look at her, only the bass guitarist is going to worry about it.

@Lord StickMAn 3 weeks after her breast cancer surgery, and not being fully recovered, the European leg of the actual tour started.The Goddess asked one day before the Fans for mental help during this first concert. Of course everyone gave his best. At the end of Sleeping Sun she broke out in tears and left the stage.( at a point were she anyway did in the setlist)....Emppu also cried, Jukka helped her on stage and and Troy nearly wrecked his instrument to get fast behind the stage. Thats the short version.
