Nightwish - Concert in Melbourne - 2005 03 21

I was there! From what I recall, their gear had been sent to Sydney instead of Melbourne, so they were playing with rented instruments! It was the first time i had seen Nightwish and one of the most ecstatic nights of my life. The Corner Hotel is a small pub venue, and was totally packed with screaming fans. I found myself swept up in the emotion of seeing my favourite band for the first time when Tarja emerged on to the stage, I started screaming, "we love you! We love you!" I was half deaf by the end of the night, but felt like my life was complete. At the end of this tour, the band handed Tarja the infamous goodbye letter, and Nightwish did not return to Australia until they had Anette. Incredible times. So good to see this video after 18 years. ❤

I was at this concert, there was some problem with her audio. I was right at the front and I could see down to the right of stage she was talking to some of the crew, she seemed quite annoyed.
