This BA 2018 Decades Tour performance to this two decades old song is an impressive showcase that Nightwis hasn't lost their energy and speed. The song itself is a little incoherent but contains excellent musicianship and singing. And R.I.P Ann Waychoff. 🙏

This one is super theatrical. The part you said you really liked, is the victory over the devil of the sea (Cthulhu). And Nightwish wouldn't be Nightwish if they didn't make it really feel like a victory. Both Tuomas and Floor are very good at translating emotions into sound. Marco kinda reminds me of the fun uncle who'd sneak you a beer and who you could talk to about anything without being judged.

@@DavidDuckie Yeah, Tuomas is a major geek. He has a lot of references to old fantasy books and movies in his lyrics. Their song Pan for instance is filled with it. I'm not sure if you realize this, but it was terribly obvious that your phone was more important than your channel right now. Please understand that I'm not judging you, it's just an observation. If you want a channel that features you, then the screen has to be the priority and the phone can wait. Additionally, at one point around the middle, something about your demeanor kind of gave the impression that you were either uninterested or just over it. I could be wrong about that, but I just wanted you to know how it looked to me. Towards the end, however, you were so much more engaged and being yourself... which is precisely why people will come to watch. 😉 I'm hoping this kind of feedback might help. 🤗

He probably just read the lyrics to understand how they make sense when listening to the actual performance. When I initially watched/listened to this song it wasn´t my cup of tea either. But respected the skill of the whole band in it. Todays It is defo in my top 5 of Nightwish songs.
