No band, musician or singer has ever evoked so much emotion in me as Nightwish has with all of their music and I am a 62 year old musician (Drummer). I have one question....How does one recover emotionally from seeing Nightwish live in concert. Hopefully I will be able to answer that question in 2021 if they come to the USA on tour. Well that is subjective. I mean, she is great I agree, her perfomances with ghost love score, the poet and the pendulum, and many others shows so, but this song (and many others too) is (again, for me) one of those she is not the best fit for it

Floor can replicate Tarja if she wants to, you should know that if you are familiar with all her (classical) work, but she likes to give her own sound to a song and not being just a copycat. Tarja is 2005.

​@@Harolddespui Of course she doesn't sound like Tarja, because she is Floor, And I don't care if she can replicate her, she is better being herself, she was great in After Forever, she was awesome in ReVamp, and she has been great everywhere. But they are different, same as the songs which are different. I already said Floor has great perfomances with Tarja song's like GLS but is not the same with other songs like ever dream or wishmaster, and the same applies to Anette songs. Floor is great with the poet and the pendulum, but storytime is better with Anette, because the songs are different and because the vocalists are different, and that is not something bad. Again, this is entirely subjective and it is my opinion, it may be different for you or to anyone else, and that is not something bad.

Love the quality of the video.. But still from the lovely SVC- channel the sound from you is crap! SVC and your channel hav a BIG problem when you talk. This never gets old. Juuka grooving on his TAMA double-base set, Emppu driving the rhythm in his signature ESP EV-1, Marco giving us epic base lines in his Warwick Buzzard, Tuomas sharing his genius on his KORGs and Floor leading the crowd like a modern-day 6-foot 1-inch Valkyrie and seducing like a siren. They are all at the top of the talent tree. Each one alone could lead a band into greatness let alone all five of them. One of the best live performances of all time. Not only musically but staging and production is unmatched.

Hi Jen. That is the best way I have seen to appreciate Nightwish. This is in my opinion one of their better songs. The composition is excellent and the vocal melody absolutely kills it! I just watched Tuomas interview (finnish language, levykauppa äx), and he said that albeit he had studied classical piano, he was not even a big music fan overall, and least a metal fan. In that Kansas Metallica concerts, he described it as an "allmost religious experience, something changed in here(his brains)"..after Metallica when guns n roses started, he didn't care less, he was still in "Metallica high". In that same interview he was asked to choose most important lp record of his life, and he choose Metallica's black album.

You can see that in the end when the video starts to tear up. The person in the beginning is probably going in to the forest to break down. No other excuse is acceptable. And later when he sees the same song, tears almost every time. :) It's like that for me too. Like it is in this video, ever dream. I saw the later live, when you watched it again. And no crying this time. And after the first note from Floor, oh crap. :) Where did that video end up? It was so funny to watch. In a good way. And the hand up to cover the screen when Floor sitting in the sofa in beste zingers. Its like Naka the metal head when she watching Elan live. Crying is to let emotions out. Good for the soul.
