I'm a Nightwish fan and love watching first time reactors to their music. I have a suggestion. If you want someone to listen to the band, then let them listen! Don't distract them. Everdream, Storytime, and Romanticide are great songs.

Whatever guard you have up, when Floor's voice comes in she cut's thru it like a fresh sharpened butcher knife and get's you right into your soul and while your bleeding out you feel satisfied. When Floor goes into her emotional mode you can sleep in the finnish winter outside in the woods and still be warmed by her voice and feel comfortable. Why? Why do people who host first time listeners to this performance have to blab out their opinions and set expections? If the song is so freaking great why would you have to say a damn thing? Or don't you get the joy of watching a first time listening experience of this GLS from someone seeing it on a clean slate. Remember, its NOT about you and what you think. Been there done that! Who cares what we already know - you brought it to the table which in itself tells your audience enough about your feelings toward the performance. Just sit there, look smug, stop telling people what they are going to feel, shut up and watch the Floorgasm already. Yeah its your channel, you'll do what you want, but don't ask for comments if it offends.

I second that. Totally inappropriate show-off AFAIC. I feel sorry for her “friend” (the one that was apparently introduced(?) to Nightwish today). At times she seemed annoyed with the one to her right, jumping up and down, trying to sing along and all the other things. I feel sorry for her to be introduced to Nightwish GLS this way. Last but not least: smoking in front of a camera is an absolute no-no in 2024. Then again, it’s your channel, so do with it whatever you like.

Floor (the Valkyrie Goddess) Jansen stands over 6 feet tall, and so, she's wearing 4 to 5 inch heels here......she's been singing in metal bands since she was 16.......Tuomas (the Metal Mozart) Holopainen is the keyboardist, co-founder (in 1996), leader, guru, composer, lyricist, arranger, and producer of 95% of the band's music.......audience here was an intimate little gathering of 82,000......this entire legendary show is available on both DVD, and KZbin, under the title of "Showtime, Storytime".....hello from the Nightwish Army, South Carolina, USA.....

Floor can do a full growl, and actually does in a Nightwish song. But Tuomos isn't a fan of growling so she mostly doesn't. Also, that last note wasn't a head voice. It was a full-on belt. Floor is super impressive. She can do Jazz, pop, rock, Disney Princess, folk, metal, classical... the list goes on. And she can mix them effortlessly. And her breath control! Wow...

our dutch pride Floor Jansen is a soprano, with an ambitus of more than three octaves (C3 to F6). Her singing style varies from opera and clean singing to screaming and grunting. She usually sings in English, but she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish.
