I love the solo folkloric part in this song!!! And I love Floor dancing to it. You can tell she loves music and she was born to do this just by the way she smiles and her eyes shine when she's dancing.

I'll be honest. I loved Tarja. I still do, both with Nightwish and her solo career. Annette was good, but didn't fit with the earlier music. Enter Floor, who is as close to a perfect blend of operatic styling and rocker that we may ever find. It's a blend that even Tarja could never pull off. We have to be realistic. Yes, Tarja is phenominal and yes, she rocketed Nightwish to the spotlight, but she always was, and still is, a diva. Floor is the rocker that Nightwish needs and deserves.

Yeah, I agree. For me, Nightwish is the music. I love all three singers but they are not the be all and end all of the band. We are all super excitedly awaiting the next album!!!! Nightwish forever!!

I so agree! Troy is fantastically talented musician who will be an asset to the band. People keep thinking he only plays pipes but he actually plays a whole range of different instruments. I'm so excited that there might be an extra guitar and additional vocals!! Troy is also a sweet guy who has a wicked sense of humour.

The thing i really love about Floor is she looks like she is having fun on stage which is something Tarja never did, she made singing live look 100% like a job (atleast she did when i saw them with her) I never got to see annette so cant judge her live presence but Floor always looks like she is enjoying herself

I will fully confess: I never heard of Floor Jansen before Nightwish's change last October. My excuse is that I live in the USA where the music industry his heavily controlled. I'm very glad Nightwish had this change. Floor is incredibly talented, and it allowed me to discover her previous bands as well.

I'm pretty confident you will. Tuomas has stated that he has booked the studio for the next album practice sessions even though he won't say if Floor will be the permanent vocalist. Doubtful he would do that without knowing what he will have . When he he switched singers he also changed directions and Floor has had to step in and cover both which is very difficult. Sounded a little rough at first which is of course to be expected under the circumstances but she has adapted quite nicely.

They're operatic/symphonic metal. In fact, it could be argued that Tarja is the founder of operatic metal, and as a founder of Nightwish, Nightwish is essentially the original operatic metal band. Seriously, listen to their music.

Personally I love Floor as a new singer in Nightwish. It seems like the whole band has more energy after she joined in. Anette was ok, but too fragile. And a rockstar isn't in stage to apology everyone, she/he is there to entertain and that takes charisma. Tarja was good, but in the end she got so bigheaded that wow...
