As much as I appreciate the Idea of America as in "Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness", I can't help but see upon how much injustice it has been built upon, namely slavery and the mistreatment of natives. There's a lot of work to be done before America can truly be called the land of the free!

12 minutes of beauty and tears...how did I not know of this heartbreaking song??? I didn't understand a word of John Two-Hawks' 'Stone People', but my heart understood the sorrow of his ancestor's pain in a way that books can't. When Tarja sang of the Trail of Tears in 'Creek Mary's Blood' I sobbed out loud😢😢😢...still weeping. Thank you Suki for this video.💔💔💔x

Trágicamente hermosa. Esta canción transmite demasiados sentimientos, la letra es preciosa y al mismo tiempo muy triste. John Allen Hill, who calls himself John Two Hawks, is not an Oglala but a little white who "plays Indian". No Oglala recognizes him or recognizes his common ancestors with him.
