kiitosia...thank you, dear, for bringing the great Tarja to us...you are quite lovely ...love Floor since the late 1990s too but its sad that today's NW act like the band did not exist until 2012...Tarja was one of the original founding members and it was her astounding voice and charisma which led them to stardom and kept them on top for 9 years...after her performances there was not a dry eye in the house....i am a former army ranger and never shed a tear until this exquisite creature presented herself to me..still astounded at her beautiful delivery and vocal range

Hey Matsu..so grateful to you for giving the great Tarja some much deserved attention..she has the most incredible, flowing, soul-caressing , resonating voice...followed her for decades...one lifetime of enjoying her is not nearly enough... you should see her sing swanheart, dead boy's poem or walking in the air...mere words could not convey the full measure of her beautiful delivery...cry every time she sings...love you Tarja !!!

Liked very much so. She is my favorite singer. Nowadays I love to mostly listen her classical and Christmas songs, her most beautiful vocals are found there, not in her metal songs (but there are exceptions). She is very determined exercising and learning new, in Nightwish she was still a rough (but wonderful) gemstone, and today is a much better singer. Listened her Christmas church tour 2019, and... so hugely disapointed it wasn't professionally recorded! Of her time in Nightwish, I fancy the operatic period: her 2nd and 3rd albums are my favs, they changed the way she sings for her 4th and 5th album. The 1st album was very experimental, but it has some beauty too. This wonderful song is played very rarely by reaction channel people. Very nice you did it. Vast majority of people react to this 2005 Helsinki "End of an Era" concert because it has the best audio/video quality - except some remastered videos have even better. I find it sad because of the setlist which is heavy on the later non-operatic period - especially the rearranged "Sleeping Sun" is a not working - and beause she was quite ill in that concert. In an interview she told that in the morning rehersals she was very worried, because she couldn't sing at all, she was in a flu. And obviously the interaction with the band is not working as she got fired after the concert. All in all not a good concert. "Phantom of the Opera" is pretty well played though. Other good quality videos of Tarja's era you can find at least in these concerts: Taubertal Festival 2005 Summer Breeze festival 2002 Raumanmeri 2003 Download Festival 2005 Tampere Pakkahuone 2000 was recorded for "From Wishes to Eternity" live DVD. Audio is good for that time, video is decent. But there's some real good remastered videos of this wonderful concert, when Nightwish wasn't all show.

you know, Matsu, after that flawless performance, alone, Tuomas should have been on his knees begging her to stay...she spent that entire day suffering from intense perspiration and weakness due to high fever, but to avoid disappointing her fans she went on regardless, running backstage at every available opportunity just to wash up and change outfits...and right after that performance they cowardly fired her claiming that she was a diva...it's still pains me to remember her last press conference posted on youtube in 2005 with tears in her eyes as she was peppered by reporters regarding the firing... still you will hear much nonsense from current NW fans who bought Tuomas's accusations that she was making too many demands, but, in fact Tuomas did not wish to negotiate with her manager for very reasonable concessions...and they will never tell you about the time, during a concert in Mexico, when a crazed fan attacked Tarja on stage, as she broke away from him dashing backstage with tears in her eyes not only did no one but her manager came to see if she was well, but in fact they continued to play as though nothing happened...and after a few minutes she returned to the stage and still with tears in her eyes, finished that night's set...would a diva do that?

kiitosia...thank you, are a treasure, my dear, and do not be overly concerned regarding the proper pronunciation of Tarja's name...if she was there she would give you a warm hug , as she customarily does to her adoring fans, and follow it up with that super sexy burst of laughter that is one of her trademarks...to me, for over 2 decades, she is an absolute summit of perfection...a golden voice that is simply unapproachable in any rock/metal genre...many have powerful voices but she shapes it to wield such an emotional delivery it hurts

Thanks, beautiful but sad song ("Death makes an artist").One of my favorites still from Tarja. BTW, yesterday one music journalist wrote review about Nightwish new album. This is how he finished it: "Nightwish is in a rare position in the sense that there are no competitors. The world created by the band is completely unique. In the meantime, I would like to emphasize that the musical direction has only gone forward. If you are still waiting for the new "Oceanborn" or "Wishmaster", you will be disappointed. “Human: II: Nature.” Is the band's most ambitious and powerful show. I believe that success will be greater than ever."

always "kiitoksia", thank you in Finnish to acknowledge her legion of loyal fans...her last concert with nightwish...fired right after by Tuomas for trying to have some say over the material, a bit more time off to rest her voice and some privacy...the next six months were pure hell for NW with a sudden super storm of hate mail from all over the world, condemning Tuomas, nearly driving him to suicide and the end to the band....you know, she once offered to tatoo her name phonetically spelled, on her forehead, saying "if it serves to help with pronuciation"
