Lanternlight is breathtakingly gorgeous ❣️ Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul. It’s so fragile and strong at the same time. What a gorgeous piece of music composed by Tuomas and so emotionally sung by Floor. Tuomas said that Lanternlight is a song of love to celebrate live of the people that passed. In this case mainly his dad. My favorite song from the new album followed by An Ocean of Strange Islands.

I think it was Eric Clark who said that "A metal band has no business writing songs like this." (Reacting to _Shoemaker._ ) I don't think anybody could have expected it, but here are a couple of artists (Tuomas and Floor) bringing tears to the eyes of even the hardest of metalheads. (I'm 72, have been listening to rock and metal all of my life, and this band is far and away the best I've ever heard.)
