Hello and greetings from a member if Tarja's winter storm fan club. Summer breeze open air festival was filmed in Germany. Nightwish performed 6 songs in their set. The film was s student film,which I am guessing was made by a friend of Tuomas (Keyboards composer/lead writer). Seeing him not sporting the goatee means you know it was early days. Emppu on lead really can play any style you happen to need. His karate training pays off in the stances he can hold while playing. Marko...amazing vocalist with his own career before and after 20 years in the band. His chunky bass lines really hold the music together. He and Tarja reunited earlier in South America for a combined show and will again in Europe for fall of 24. Both have classical training and he is Tarja's good friend and musical partner in stage together. The sheer joy of singing old favourites and new material is papable. Such big smiles. Of the old band (Marko joined in 2001, Tarja was forced out in 2005) they reunited Xmas 2017 for a national Finnish tv concert with other stars from Finland. Tarja started her solo career in 2006 with a christmas album. the fans embraced her and she has become a world brand in her own right. Finding new styles and genres betweeb her rock albums. She earned her masters degree in Germany and sings in Lied (leed) style. close sibling of opera and she has sung some arias. Tuomas,Emppu, and Tarja founded Nightwish in 2006. The band under the current line up has released the 1st single from the new album. Current lead singer (3rd) took a break to have another child and put out her own 1st solo album. Floor actually was in a band After Forever who opened for NW in Europe the same summer this was recorded. Floor and Tarja are very much still good friends. In fact Tarja gave Floor her blessings when she was asked to join Nigntwish in 2013. Tarja invited Floor to join her on stage in Belgium at The Female Voices of Metal calling on the crowd to continue the love. She publically supported Floor and all the current fans should appreciate the generous gesture of support. Joining a world famous band you were a fan of as a teen is no small thing. To get that imprint of support from Tarja meant a lot. Now you can pick favourites but there is no wrong choice. Fact is everyone knows Tarja is kind and generous with her time and access for her fans. The love goes both ways. 22 years later these folks are still making music. What a gift.
