Thank you for noticing how incredible Marco, the bassist, is! Everyone knows the ladies of Nightwish have beautiful voices but so does Marco and it's a shame how overlooked he can be some times! My dad is the biggest fan of Phantom of the Opera ever (he's seen it 5 times on Broadway, including with Sarah and Michael) and I was playing this years ago on vacation and he heard and became a huge Nightwish fan, we went to see them together a few years ago, it was incredible!

Im a big time Floor fan, but now i have to admit and say, TARJA WAS NOT HUMAN AT ALL!!!! I heard Floor do the phantom of the opera, and Tarja went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND FLOOR BIG TIME!!!!!! Hi. :) I'm first time on your channel, great video and great reaction. :) I'm Tarja's fan, when I heard her for the first time I was 8 and I immediately loved her voice. It's been 17 years now. :D Please react her solo stuff. Tarja has classical and operatic music education, but after Nightwish she still learning singing in classical and also another techniques, also more pop and rock singing. She is also songwriter, composer and arranger, she has rock and metal songs, ballads etc., but she performs classic music and opera arias on her classical concerts with symphonic orchestra. She has her own "Ave Maria" composed by her, it's really beautiful. She has also classical album "Ave Maria - En Plein Air" with 12 versions of "Ave Maria", in this with her own version. Please react her solo stuff, maybe "Crimson Deep" live from "Act I". I really like her song "Mystique Voyage", it's very mystical. :) She has many great songs. From her last album "In The Raw" is amazing song "Railroads", or also "Spirits of the Sea". Can you react her solo stuff?

Nightwish is incredible live and they have multiple great shows video recorded, the entire Wacken 2013 show is unbelievable, Wembley 2015 is not far behind with new songs from their first album with Floor, Tampere 2015 is also great and finally the Buenos Aires 2019 show for which they rearranged a lot of their older hits, which to me made them even better.

This was the first Nightwish video I ever saw, got interested, and then experienced Floor and have been an avid fan ever since. Nightwish's 3 singers: 1. Tarja (original singer) 2. Annette 3. Floor (current singer) everyone knows Floor, she's super popular with everyone, especially right now, and is a really good singer, having a huge variety of singing capability (pop, classical/opera, belting, growling/raspy), able to sing nightwish's old songs that were for Tarja's classical/opera singing, as well as new songs for her own variety/range of singing abilities Unfortunately for Annette, she's a pop singer, and a very good singer too, but her pop singing just didn't go that well with nightwish's music, which was made for Tarja's classical/opera singing. So, usually, she gets left out. so, it comes down to "Targasm (Tarja) vs Floorgasm (Floor)" in terms of the Nightwish singers in who you like most, if you like classical/opera singing better, Tarja is better at it, but that's all she can do, but she does it really well, she's really got a beautiful voice, if you like more pop singing, belting and growling/raspy, with or without classical/opera singing, than you like Floor better I knew nightwish from the early 2000s, so Nightwish will always be with Tarja, but Nightwish with Floor is really good too, but it's Tarja, who's my favorite singer with nightwish (many others will help you out with Floor's songs, so I'll just stick to Tarja's songs here) ---------- if you do like Tarja with nightwish, here's some good ones: (NOT ranked, just listed) 1. End of an Era (her last concert with nightwish, hard to find good quality and the entire concert, as it gets taken down) 2. You have not watched much Antte's concerts, or did not listen. She is the most rock singer Nightwish ever had (edit: except Marko). Yeah I know her voice is the fairest, innocent and girly (hence she's said poppy), but she is the most rock singer. She sings like rock, and she has most agressive rock attitude of any of them while singing. And she mainly did rock before Nightwish, was a hard rock band singer, and in a rock opera. In the Dark Passion Play world tour she sang even the ballads too rock attitude on stage, why they didn't become pretty. But she changed that in the Imaginaerum tour. That's what I got from the video material there is in the KZbin, which is not much.

This 2005 "End of an Era" is probably the worst concert for Tarja: she was in flu and fever, unable to sing in morning rehersals, and as she told after the concert, she struggled to sing the whole concert: her vocals aren't her best in this concert. Unfortunately it's the one with best video/audio quality, or was until new fans' remastered songs, that have better quality. You asked her education. She started piano lessons in the age of six. 1993 - 1995 Savonlinnan taidelukio (Savonlinna highschool of arts) where she started classical singing in her final year. 1996 - 2000 Sibelius Academy, a university level music school, where she studied classical church and chamber music. Then she moved to study in Germany, 2001 - 2003 Karlsruhe Hochschule für Musik. She said in an interview she took private (edit: singing) lessons already while in Savonlinna. I know two of her private tutors, the other is Mitsuko Shirai who was Tarja's professor in Karlsruhe, the other is Marta Blanco an Argentinian opera singer and vocal performance professor.
