I love this version! The ending for me is perfect as she completes her part and silently strolls off as the band and choir build to a huge ending, for me it's magical!!!

I love this version, completely different atmosphere and more depth because the text sung by the choir can be heard and it is a key component of the story here. The guys did a great job opening and closing and Tarja is Tarja - waves of sound that carry you ❤

Hi! That's a great reaction! I notice in your videos that when Tarja starts singing you always seem to catch her voice with your face or inhale with your nose. Even Tuomas in this video was getting high from that sound haha 4:21. I do that sometimes too, because I think Tarja's voice is so dense and palpable that you can feel it or catch it. Sometimes I feel like her voice hangs over audience and stage and hangs in the for a few moments. This version of song is closest to studio version. Here, unlike Wacken version, you can hear choir perfectly. And most interesting thing is that studio version of this song also sounds different. In this version Tarja sings more high and softly and additional instruments of orchestra can be clearly heard.

Thanks a lot for the reaction. When I first heard this song 20 years ago, I couldn't get enough of it. So melancholic, wistful and beautiful. I only knew the music and Tarja's voice and knew nothing about the band or their members. But it was pure magic. The studio version is still my favorite.💜🤟

It is much easier to hear, and see the words to, the choir chant, at the end of the song in this version. The chant was very much in the background in the Wacken 2013 version, although some of the crowd was chanting along. Tuomas is a master of contrast and the contrast between the heavy choir chant and the long, legato phrases by Tarja/Floor near the end are just one example. Most reactors don't really pick up on this point.

Versions with Tarja and Floor are very different. So everybody gets what he/she preferred.

"My fall will be for you My love will be in you You were the one to cut me So I’ll bleed forever" We know Tuomas that you two cut each other pretty deep. So deep that not only you, but also your fans feel the wounds to this day. It is irony that today Tarja was won by Marko. I hope that someday we will see a reconciliation between Tuomas and Tarja. The world needs it.

it's their relationship and it should never been public and should never be, they don't owe us anything, especially Tarja

@@CarterAvalon I don't think Tarja owes anyone anything. She gives us a lot. But apparently they would both be relieved if Tuomas apologized to her and reconciled. But there would have to be an effort from his side. I can see why she's not excited about joining a possible Nightwish anniversary celebration.
