I think the older military M-power wagons are pretty much unstoppable 💪🏽😎👍🏽

Pretty much all the trucks from that era were million mile trucks 👌

My dad had 74 step side dodge refered to as warlock because it changed color corresponding to sunlight. Sometimes it looked brown and at times it looked green. It was actually black with the large gold metalflake paint. Loved that truck. I can actually see that truck in my head set up to 4wd .

Those are pretty cool trucks. The warlock trim was pretty famous. I've seen some 4x4 step sides, they dont look half bad!

@@NightWrencher ALso add you cant get the large metal flake they used on the warlock. A guy ran into the back left side and crunched the bed . My dad told the insurance to total it and give him $4000 cash. They wouldn't go for it but dad told them it's a collectors truck and the only way he he will accept it is if it matches original . They ended up supplying dad with rental car for 8 months. Lol The old guy that finaly supplied them a fender charged $1200 for the fender and bed side. Meanwhile we rode in a brand new mecurary couger . The rental car stipulation was insurance paid lowest rental estiment between out of 3 quotes. I guess they thought quote from Mercedes and porch dealership were to high.

Only 4 grand to total the truck?? Right now prices are crazy for the step sides

@@NightWrencher happened in 1984 and there value has increase very well since. Dodge was first to see factory truck hotrodding which is why they are so sought after. I mean you had customized Van's and trucks but these came factory aimed at custom and performance.

Mopar engine only in these Dodges. I have a 1980 W150, 4 speed, 318, factory locking hubs, disc brakes short bed that needs a lot of body work that I’m working on someday.

Im using factory rear blocks but overall its about a 6 inch lift. You can get the shocks at oreilly. They give you options based on how much lift you have

I've been a dodge guy for my entire adult life. I had a '78 power wagon, and regret selling it years ago. I've been looking for another old dodge 4x4. This video contains more information than anything I've found so far. Thank you for sharing.
