Nice! I used to dream of living in a tiny apartment (but that was in my late childhood to early teenage years), but later, I started dreaming of living in some kind of rural area. I'm assuming that you would continue to go back to your previous place to move stuff over. 5:17 I won't be surprised if you bought that at a Daiso store, because I used to have one like that and it was also from one of those stores.

The one thing that japan definitely does better than anywhere else is simplicity. They basically make these 1 bedroom places with as little of everything as possible whilst still keeping it livable. Of course these aren't the kind of things people want to live in but they're so good for people on tight budgets who just want somewhere where they can just crash. Of course the drawbacks are that you can't live with other people and that some may find it claustrophobic and may struggle to fit everything they want in the apartment but overall they're so nice(just wish they were a thing elsewhere(other than university accommodation :P))

I remember when we went apartment hunting in Japan. We were moving from a guest house to a real place and some of them were just tiny. Found a really nice place in Shinagawa through UR. It was a 2DLK. For those not in the know this is a 2 bedroom with a Dining room, Living room and Kitchen. And the living room had a set of sliding doors on it which could be closed off to turn it into another bedroom if necessary. It was about 136K yen a month but between the two of us it was more than affordable based on what we were making. Appliances were gotten at Donki, managed to get a few cheap because they were floor models and we found a really nice dining room set at a second hand shop.

fouride toothpaste isn't actually healthy at all. floride does nothing good for your teeth and accumulates in your bodies bone structure. it does not coat or interact with your teath at all in your mouth. fluridized water in the u.s. is actually a cheap way to get rid of toxic waste. pretty much the first think you learn, when studing chemistry ...

amduser86 Go read up when flouride toothpaste was introduced in the west and how dramatically the rate of caries related toothproblems changed. You could illuminate the apartment through the camera flash light or purchase candles unless there are regulations to not allow candles in the apartment, if you have a bedsheet you could use it as a temporary curtain with some hooks or pegs to keep it attached or some string knotted through or just wrapping curtains or some elastic band thanks for the vid :) it was really interesting to see :)

lol Switch is fun but until it gets a Project Diva game I probably won't be carrying it most places

NihongoGamer Switch sadly can't have Project DIVA, playstation only

I like it, for a studio. I would want the kitchen and bathroom father apart, but I see a lot of studio videos like that. You could have a couch bed, then a living area off to the side. You might fit a work desk too.

For that price I can get an apartment 4+ times bigger....

It’s different. That’s Japan. Very difficult to find a decent apartment. Japan is an expensive country @_@

I am looking at living in Kyoto Nagoya. possibly another prefecture, but I am not too worried about it now, I have other priorities first.

That apartment is smaller than my reason for living. I'm a big guy so I can't see myself living in such a confined space

It helps to be a minimalist.

Being 6 foot 6 inches might not help my case if I were to live in that apartment.

bring a futon and change the layout of the room when ever you need to, A dedicated bedroom one night can suddenly become a dining room the next morning to a living/gaming room in the day etc.
