She basically reiterated that she wanted to move on and doesn't really want to get involved with the crazy shitstorm that's been happening in Nijisanji. She also said that the only person still in Niji that she has kept in touch with is [Rosemi], who she referred to as "my rosie friend". I suspect that, having "rescued" Pomu, the only other person left that Matara still wants to help is Rosemi, and if Rosemi ever escapes, Matara will probably never have anything to do with Nijisanji or its other ex-Livers again. It wasn't a psychologically healthy period of her life and she doesn't want to relive it, so it makes perfect sense for her to distance herself from it out of self-protection. Look at Pomu. Maid Mint has held herself very aloof from basically everyone other than Matara. She talked recently saying that she had a sort of low-grade trauma response (she actually used the word trauma) from her time in the company, and it sounds like it has severely impacted her ability to trust other streamers, which is actually exactly what Sayu was describing. Damn, man. Nijisanji just sounds like someplace that fucks up the mind of everyone who passes through there. What a hellhole.

I feel bad for Salome as despite having the potential to rival Gura, she got screwed over by Niji and internal talent politics that nipped any chance of that happening in the bud. The difference between the Taipei and the Singapore events is that when there were idols with 3D available, they did 3D in Taipei from what I understand. Fuwamoco was only 2D because they haven't received their 3D yet. That's a huge difference from Singapore. My take on the Kirsche debacle is easy: everyone has free speech, but businesses have the right to choose who they want to give a platform to. You're entitled to your views and opinions, but you also need to shoulder the consequences that come wuith them. Offkai are completely in the right to exclude people with views that don't align with their values, but Kirsche also has the right to express her displeasure. In short: no assholes here. That said, Kirsche could easily avoided the heat by keeping some of her more far-right thoughts to herself, but then again, freedom of speech. It is what it is.

The same can be said of the OffKai staff and the repulsive beliefs of their volunteers which are inherently divisive and exclusive. Kirsche gave her side, OffKai gave their side, now it's up to the people to decide who they want to support. People are acting like OffKai shouldn't be punished just because they're a convention with the right to decide who can and can't join their events, but people absolutely have the right to not associate with OffKai anymore as well. It's a two-way street, and just because one side seems to be losing doesn't mean it's unfair. It just means that public opinion has spoken.

What is repulsive about wanting to go back to a time when people could have Hobbies? Seriously you can't have a hobby now a days unless it's hyper niche to the point it won't go mainstream. I am fine with Diversity but be respectful to people. Kirche is free to have whatever opinions she wants. That does not insulate her from consequence. If she is going to be anti gender ID or pro fascist that is her prerogative. It does not mean she is entitled to a forum where people who disagree with her work. Offkai is not in the wrong here.

Doesn't work that way. Attending a convention or event isn't a right protected by the law, nor is speaking at a panel as a guest. If the organizers of an event don't want you there as a representative of them, they can tell you that and not invite you/cancel your invitation.

i think she should try get a cosplayer to play her, tell her friends to say to offkai 'we will have this other cosplayer thats big', they arrive, n its some person in a kirsche cosplay, whips out a fone and opens the discord app, connects with kirsche, press the speaker button up to mic and absolutely destroy these really sad sad people that think Kirsche should not be there and the fact they are just openly sayin 'no your not allowed', right, well what could ya do? maybe this? but dunno the % likeliness of it working n them not getting chucked out. anybody at offkai should think about the kirsche cosplay potential for absolute memeage

The cosplay thing itself would be perfect. Usually, I don't care for the "snowflake" nonsense, but in this case, it fits them perfectly. Watch their feathers get ruffled when some Kirsche cosplayers make their way in.
