I love Horn. Local wolfgirl literally too angry to die. Fierce protector in battle, but soft and gentle in normal life. She suffered one of the most tragic fates (seeing her platoonmates, her friends, tortured to death before her) but came out of it sane and well-adjusted. Her being so attuned to and open about her emotions is miraculous. Almost anyone else would simply shut out their emotions, but Horn wrestles with it all, the sorrow, the anger, the hatred, the doubt, and even confides in the Doctor once they earn her full trust, which takes enormous courage and self-awareness. Anything she does, she takes seriously and gives her all. She's sharp, resourceful, efficient, and eager to help. She has a wolfish ability to spot weakness but uses it for empathy, cheering others up and bolstering morale. She's a fantastic leader, someone who can give you courage and direction in a hopeless and chaotic situation. If you're with her, you feel like you can't lose, and you know she'll do all she can to get you home safe. Her loyalty is doubtless. She holds herself to the highest standards but doesn't place that pressure on others (even her new platoonmates, whom she could've bound by duty, she offered a way out of the fight when one was presented), and generally strikes me as understanding and nonjudgmental. She doesn't think twice about working with Infected, with is a big adjustment even for a lot of other good-hearted characters. She's incredibly strong and fit. Her equipment looks very heavy, but she carries it all day tirelessly and wields it with agility. This game needs more muscular art for female operators because Horn is definitely buff. Her EN voice is peak, striking a perfect balance between fierce on the battlefield and calm and cool elsewhere, and I never knew a British accent could sound so sexy. She also has one of my favorite theme songs, one of the game's most epic. And her skin is peak. She may not be a fan of the trappings of nobility, but she is stunning in that dress. She's so fun to play, too. One of the few non-copium M9s, lots of ways to use her, and she holds up in N15 IS3. I even brought her on my first leakless N15 Sentinel (not that she's good for that map, but hey, I had the relics to justify it). Horn deserves a peaceful retirement (which she dreams of in her module), and sharing that peace with her (me as her wife, her as mine) would be my dream come true.

Yup, Whisperain is my latest fave! Might not be the best gameplay wise, but definitely a lovable character. Very dedicated, kind person. Got beautiful artwork, and soft-spoken characters are also something I'm totally into. [Spoiler below] Every time she dies (and she's likely died MANY times before joining Rhodes) and comes back she loses basically any memory she hasn't kept a record of, which leaves her sad and depressed... And in spite of that, the fact that she *STILL* continues to travel the world every life, devoting herself to helping people in need is really something! Woman's an absolute saint. Deserves every last bit of support and praise!

If you only consider the operators, then it's Roberta and Irene, they have very cute voices. But if you take into account all the characters from Arknights, then it’s probably Anita. My favorite waifu in Arknights is Anita, an NPC from the Under Tides event. She seems like that girl from a dysfunctional family next door who would go out and play with me, but then suddenly move away and disappear forever. She looks half-dead, but very beautiful, only in black and white. Like she's not of this world, with her distant look and sloppy style of clothing, but she only looks like that. In reality, she's a friendly, curious, and kind girl who wants to help others, I appreciate that she takes care of Grandma Petra, she's also cool AF. Her relationship with Skadi was so sweet and cute that I just melted after that. I wish her happiness in her cruel world, and I'm very glad that she reappears in the Dungeon of Delicious event after so many years.

Nian is basically everything I like about a character design-wise rolled into one. I started playing the game early this year initially because I thought Gavial Alter looked sick as hell but was sad to find out she's limited. When I got a bit more into the game and started looking at the other ops I just fell in love with Nian's design but again, super limited. However she unexpectedly spooked me during Shu's banner pulls and it was my happiest moment in Arknights so far, she might not be meta but I E2'd her instantly.

Why does nobody even mention Degenbrecher, when she's literally the GOAT? She is such a badass character that they sabotaged her from soloing Kazimierz Major for the third time! An inspiring story - from being deficient to being a living legend. Instead of becoming hateful and despising society for mistreating her, she just keeps helping people in far-away Kjerag and becomes their local gal. With all respect to the Japanese voice actress, only the English version with that thick accent conveys her strength and gentleness the right way. Also, do check out her theme song - it's very inspiring and gentle! Degen is a solid one, she's got your back. My other best buddies would be Gavial and Ethan. They both are interesting species and personalities, extremely uplifting and cool. As for husbando, it's definitely SilverAsh and it doesn't require elaboration)

Reed = Best taste. My waifu history is Vigna (for about a month) -> Blue Poison (for ~15 month) -> Reed (It was a long struggle but in recent months she finally took over. It was at the moment where I looked up her JP VA and I found out that she voiced my first and oldest anime waifu from School Rumble. This shocking discovery finally made me switch.) As for Husbando. A bit late to the dance, but whatever. Even tho I always bring Hung to every stage, at first I didn't really like him, I was actually indifferent. I first heard about this game from someone on a discord server, and after a while, someone else had put a Hung pfp. I didn't know that he was in the game when I started playing. I found out that he was a character when he got added to the recruitment. I recognized him and looked for a support Hung to try. He was tanky enough, could heal and give sp. I didn't have a single 5* defender and I tried my luck in a banner he was in (Forgot which one). He became my favourite defender, so I looked up his story and voicelines. In a sea of traumatized kids, traumatized adults and psycopaths, a guy that was just an everyday guy working for a detective agency, with his own interests outside work and wholesome as hell, he became my favourite character. So now, I simp happily for him.

Tough to decide, I have 2 very favorite characters in Arknights, Astgenne and Muelsyse. I guess it'd be Muelsyse since I use her on almost every team for events and story. Now, not a waifu but my favorite character gotta be GG. She's just too cute and her global range is a godsend sometimes. I did a random joint operation 10 pull with her in it on the off chance and she has not left my squad ever since. A close second is probably shared by Amiya and Typhon. I really like the mystery surrounding Amiya's powers and she has the bonus of being cute too. Typhon having Swedish voice lines and a giant fucking bow plus fighting Collapsals is fucking awesome.

Waifu -> Blemishine. Love her personality, especially her fascination with crafting and tinkering despite being a Knight. Best of all, she's voiced by the goddess Hanazawa Kana herself so she had to be the pick. Husbando -> Lee. This one took a little bit more thought as I don't generally have favorite male characters in these kinds of games so I had to really dig deep but between Silver Ash and Lee, I ended up deciding that Lee's playful aloof thing he's got is more enjoyable than Silver Ash's apparent gap moe.

My waifu must be Kroos. She's cute, i love her laid back personality, and i love her even more when reading her story. She's always seem relax and carefree, because she care about her friends, and wants everybody to have fun. Most of the time she's chill, but when she gets angry, she can be mean and a bit cruel, which I find relatable to me. All in all she's just a good girl who tries her best to bring joy and happiness to life, but sometimes make mistakes. When she gets her Alter, I'm really happy, and then the Cheongsam skin, MAN it was PERFECT.

Uhhh [Waifu] Texas, Penance, Lapland I love texas, been using her since the free 5* pack. When her alter dropped i went balistic. However, Penance took all my pulls, pot3 pen with 0 texas, i was low on orig cuz i was still pretty new and didn't check the banner sched. Because of this, i HATED Penance and became one of the reasons i quit playing (i quit after RA) I came back, put penance as my assistant cuz it fits well with the fireworks background, listened to her voice lines, liked it, e2'ed her, liked it even more, checked her skins, saw her (in the stairs) skin, loved it, she solo'ed patriot which i was having a godhard time cuz of its one shots and true damage so i loved her even more So just incase you lost track I like texas, and penance, i also like lapland after hearing her en voice.
