The whole album was heavier than I expected, and I was a huge fan of das monster and der tag an dem die welt, but thought they just sounded like discount Rammstein after tobi left. I found WBTBWB in the same way I'm guessing a lot of people did. Eskimo Callboy "Hypa Hypa", right? I've been going down a EC and WBTBWB rabbit hole, and I couldn't be happier. I've never been much for deathcore (no, I'm not an anti-deathcore guy like many are just because) but damn it, this band is getting me into that genre. Their music is super heavy, the vocals range from the low dirty growls to the higher pitched metal vocalist registers, and they don't take themselves too seriously. I'm a huge fan of them now (as of about a couple weeks ago) and can't wait to hear more. Big fan of your channel and your reactions.

Tremonti hands down. Thats his style and clearly what he likes to write. But also his guitar melds perfectly with Myles on a different level. But his riffs with Tremonti are so heavy and what I find myself listening to more often!

Alter Bridge is obviously. Tremonti started his solo project because he wanted to do thrash/speed metal stuff which doesn't match with the AB style. But being heavy is not the thing. Alter Bridge is something special. His best work is there with Alter Bridge.

@@RG049 I know what you mean. I think its getting to the point on alot of Tremonti songs where I think he holds back on solos so there's more for Alter Bridge because they are more solo based. His Guitar work on Tremonti has really helped him find his singing voice and allowed him to become a great frontman as well. I love both bands but tbh I havent listened to Alter Bridge in a while. Theres just so much other good stuff out now
