Bleed the future brings elements that sometimes can be missing in extreme metal. Those catchy, attachable and memorable parts, which is done by the entire band! That’s what’s most fascinating to me. As a hip hop artist, I can hear how aware of word and syllable placement Oli is. These guys have such a deep understanding of music composition, whether by ear or by theory, even the vocalist, and I think vocals are the one thing in extreme metal that usually tends to have more of an abstract, spontaneous and random approach. I love how they cross over the intricacy of rhyme patters and word placement from hip hop into metal music. There is so much science behind their music. They are basically making meth in an RV lol

Im so happy to hear him talk about more melody being a deliberate choice. To be fair, their last album had a ton of catchy/memorable riffing, and is exactly why/how I got into Archspire in the first place. Most things are always so guitar forward so this song is truly unique and you see just HOW fucking brutal the other elements of a song can be.
