2021 is the year where deathcore stops being the bastard child and begins getting the respect it deserves from all people who listen to metal. I dont know how someone can be a "true" metalhead and enjoy the classic evil, messed up sounding bands like Gorguts and Ulcerate, and not listen to the new HLB and not be absolutely floored by how dark, bizarre, evil and oppressive it is Valde is really, really pushing the boundaries and forging new sounds with this album that no one has really ever thought of before. 50+ years of metal being around and there are still new and exciting albums coming out regularly.
