This song is so fucking underrated. Best new Metalcore song i have heard in a really long time. This is even better than the new Erra music, Survival Horror or Sleeps Society. I know underrated is stated very often lately, but this Song definately is. Dont understand why this or the new Of Mice and Men EP dont get the recognition they deserve. Not a huge fan of Northlane. Their music has never really stood out to me compared to some other band in their genre. But I’m literally obsessed with this song. I love the dynamics of the song writing, the catchy hooks, the bouncy riffs (especially that breakdown towards the end, holy crap), it’s everything you want in a great song.

I always get Northlane in my Spotify mixes and historically I've never liked them. I didn't get their shtick, and I've probably been listening to a lot of the old stuff without realizing. It wasn't until this track that I really started to get it. Marcus is a hell of a vocalist, and I think I just like his style much more than the last guy.

Marcus is excellent, Obsidian and Alien are some of my favorite metal tracks I've listened to, not a fan of their old stuff, I love to see them bridge out and try new sounds

I know you made it as a joke comment but unironically yes running regularly gives you a huge boost as a vocalist, just getting really in tune with your body, and B R E A T H C O N T R O L is the big one! Also when you're in regular vocal coaching, I found it helps with running. Singing and running are both full body exercises if you're doing it right

Technically Marcus is clearly world's ahead ...BUT .. Adrian brought something to the table that was super special and unique for the times .. I have grown to be a huge fan of Marcus but I will always jam Discoveries and Singularity for the deep places they take me ..I can understand the people who got onboard with Marcus going back wouldnt have the same impact as it did for those of us there from the beginning .. Adrian might not have had an amazing vocal range but he totally owned his place as the original frontman of Northlane 🤘

Alien and Obsidian my least fav Northlane albums. Their 3 best are Singularity, Node and Mesmer, in that order. Don’t get me wrong, both Alien and Obsidian have some bangers, but as a whole, they’re not as good and I think it’s because of the lyrics. I don’t want personal lyrics, I want philosophical lyrics that make me think

I hate it when bands do this. Straight garbage. Adding all the electronics, moving to such simple patterns and glossing over the entire song with just one tone is something that I just can't stand. It's essentially radio pop with some screaming in the background. Northlane, Architects, Bring me the Horizon- all trash now. There's a difference between growth and a total departure from sound and technique. These just aren't the same bands anymore.
