I got mine (and limbs) the other day and I’m VERY impressed with it. I wasn’t expecting much but I’m happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. I got the black and red one - extremely nice riser. The only thing I’d suggest is get yourself a decent string before the bow arrives, the one that came with mine was poor quality and it was waaaaay too short for the bow. Very happy customer here. Great video, thanks.

Yes Jeff. I agree, the N3 limbs are very good. This riser is good but when paired together with the N3 limbs, it's a winning combo.

@@brookvalleylife724 Hi Sir, How is N3 Pro ?
@brookvalleylife7245 ай бұрын
@@Xaio_ChuHe Fantastic. It's a great limb. very smooth, stable and no stacking. I have also found it very forgiving with the Nik'a Stellar (ET-15A) Riser as well. If you can spare the extra money i feel they are worth it (however still cheaper than the other big brand top range limbs). Just to let you know I shoot minimum of 5 days a week at the moment so have tried them for a while now.

Very nice. The design reminds me a little of the Junxing riser I just got but that one u have has much nicer machined cutouts on it. Found out recently that my original wood/glass limbs sends the bareshaft a little stiff. Not so much but a little stiff with the Nika C1's. But those wood limbs r more forgiving. However when I shoot a Black Eagle Instinctive 400 spine 4mm arrow out of those 2 setups the Nika limbs give u a stronger shot with a crisper release. Not as much hand shock either. Those arrows r just OK & I'm getting my reps in with them. With the Junxing/Nika N3 setup those same shafts r a little too weak. But the N3 is perfectly tuned to my shafts I made which r the Black Eagle X-Impact's. I'm still working up to shooting them on a daily basis. But every bare shaft shot from the N3's r 90 perpendicular to the target face. I'm glad I've got that to look forward to. Good shooting to ya. 👍 Nice to finally see that riser up close. 🏹

Thought the riser looks like the Win&Win ATX (I think it's that one). Very well balanced and real quality finish. The double coloured ones look really good. It's amazing how different limbs of the same draw weight give totally different tunes. Good new is, it's stopped raining here so I get to do some shooting.
@josephtreadlightly5686 Жыл бұрын
@@brookvalleylife724 I better get back to it. We missed the rain earlier but it's a good chance tonight. I like the grip on that riser. Kinda like the finish on those Nika limbs 👍.

I have the German Version if it (Jackalope Zircon Ultimate) and i Love my Black/Gold Riser ! but i also think it´s very loud. Maybe this is because Limbs are too stiff oder i have set the Bracehight to low, i still have to test some Configs. But over all a can confirm that this is an Excellent Designed Riser !
@brookvalleylife724Ай бұрын
It is a great riser. This is what I use for my indoor setup. As for sound, try the different brace heights as I run mine at 23.5cm and it sounds very quiet. I have dropped the counter balance weights down to a minimum and the feel now is getting to a point where the whole bow is very steady and shoots so well.
@carstenherbst2934Ай бұрын
@@brookvalleylife724 Thanx for the Info ! the 23,5cm is something i will test next time. and Yes i also think that this is one of the Best Risers / Limbs combo u can buy for an affordable price ! BUT also the Protoss can NOT kick my Hoyt Helix with Ortogrip from my Throne of cool Risers 🙂

@@brookvalleylife724 awesome! i’m finally starting to get my own gear after using rentals for a while. do you think this is a good start?
@josephtreadlightly5686 Жыл бұрын
I'm sure there will be a few archers out there thinking that they r just target archers & why should they care if their bow is quiet? If u shoot a very light arrow to get the right spine, arrow flight & trajectory then your bow @ the right tune is going to be more quiet due to efficiency. Just like driving a vehicle in traffic with many stop lights compared to driving a good distance @ a consistent speed. I shoot shorter recurve bows since i also hunt with them. I've found on 1 recurve with limbs compared to another riser that i can shoot 2 different sets of limbs that my brace height is around 19.5-20cm. Of course im from the US so im not writing them down that way. Knowing that your b.h. & tiller is important cuz if u have a season where you're not shooting as often then its nice to have a reference to go back to. Im shooting split finger so that helps with a nock point closer to the center which also helps out on my efficiency. P.S. i had that virus early in the month after avoiding it for over 3 years. But up here more people have had a head cold & after feeling a bit better for a week i caught that too. But the brain fog is gone & im finding it much better when focusing.

So true about the sound and efficiency. Also good to see that at least one of our American brethren is turning away from the dark side and using the world renown metric system (Only joking. It's good to live dangerously every now and again). Fully agree it is very good to know your brace height and tiller so yo can check each time you string your bow. Must admit I am still feeling a off but getting better everyday.

Again Ty for the information. Question regarding lengths. My recurve is the Sage galaxy elite 2 with 30lb pull. And I only have three Ares 5.50 arrows at the moment. Is there a specific length of arrow I need to get??
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
All depends on your draw length Ty. Many videos on YT to show you how to calculate it. Once you know that then you can check the companies spine charts to decide which arrows you need.

Nice looking riser, imho, Nika is making some very good products.

Totally agree with you Jeff. They have some really good items but some very level entry items perfect for beginners that people think are crap. They are aimed at the low level entry so are not meant to be the all singing all dancing stuff. This riser is very good. Maybe a bit on the expensive side but if you look what's out there it's not too bad.
