I'm not sure you can target the same creature it's currently on, you might be right though, but definitely not if it has shroud. There's honestly not that instances where it's useful to retarget the same creature, except like Nadu or Valiant (on different turns of course). There's not alot of 'if targeted by an ability' that this hasn't been a burning needing answers for me.

It's way to op. It produces coloured manna, enters untapped, cycles and pings. Can you imagine the control decks if they had this card? Every control deck with blue would hold this up and if they don't use it just hit your face for 1. Not to mention that this is repeatable removal on a land

18:29 you can re equip to the same card any number of times so long as you can pay the cost aka the card is broken 54:40 cloak, maniphest and so on are all realy weird so the ai card dosent work because it has to say "reveal and if its a land" otherwise it never triggers unless ashaya or something that makes it a land is in play because even if you cloak a land into pay its always treated as a 2/2 creature when it enters and since the ai card dosent speify when it checks where the card is a land it implys it checks on etb because youd have to maniphest a card first and you cant look at the card until after it enters technically i play a cloak maniphest deck and its a tracking hellscape the important part is you can look at the card but the land cloaked is always a 2/2 creature rules wise unless again ashia is in pla. the card basicly only works if ashaya is in play dont you love weird specal action nonsense

If Ashiya is in play you get stuck in a loop until you deck yourself too, because there is no "you may" on the cloak top card ability. It creates tokens and you cloak and you can't stop until your deck is gone

The thing with 3 mana blue sweeper is that you don’t need to splash any other color. Basic lands are great against Wasteland and Blood Moon. Pitches to Force of Will too. And one mana cheaper is huge in fast formats like Legacy.

You can cloak non creature cards. Its just that there's no way to know if its a land so the second part if that card doesn't work.

Of course you can know what card it is. You put it face down, but you can see what it is, otherwise you wouldn't know if it's a creature or not. This works exactly the same as manifest. And you can reveal any card at any time, it just doesn't normally have gameplay significance.

@@nikxneon6615the point here is the opponent knowing if you're telling the truth or not. rulewise you can't, but it's not a hard rule. I think even in the rules you can just call a judge to check the card or if it's casual there's nothing really to stop you from showing it.

the two mana 5/5 is just fine. Can be pushed, can be dismembered, can be bounced, can be blocked for days and days. Lightning Greaves is a four mana two card win, so is Fling but as with Anger it can't be used with a colorless Commander. Also, you can win plenty with 4 mana and two cards

Unrelated to the video but how do I clean a signed playmat? I won a GP Montreal playmat signed by Nikachu in some contest he ran back around 2015. Also unrelated to this, is there any way to watch the ancient Nikachu Merfolk videos, and how is his burn player buddy from back in the day? Anyone got a foil ham sandwich?

I THINK you can wash most playmats with soap and water. But you should be careful to clean around the signature or it will likely fade away. I've unlisted all the old Merfolk videos, they will only be public on my NikachuPlaysMTG gameplay channel. My old buddy Andrew Day 2 Dryden still plays but he's retired from competitive Magic and only plays Commander though. If his life gets less busy, maybe he will come back.

Inkjent is very balanced actually. You don't control when you get tokens (except attacking plainswalkers). So unless it's in an anthem/token deck or going up against Super Friends or ninjas, it can't do much on its own.

Seasing Lonebatist and Witch Cannon combo doesn't really work the way you want. You need to do it in the opposite order. So play Witch cannon, it has summoning sickness, then play Seasing Lonebatist on your second turn and use both.

Ojer melody would actually be a good dragon for my Tiamat commander deck. I do my effects on putting lots of dragons into play to do direct dmgs, multiply them and create treasures as they enter the battle field. I rarely attack with them except to create more mana to cast more dragons... so its cheap cost in a deck where I can put 20+ dragons in play in a turn would fit perfectly.
