To all the young guys. These were the af1s we had in late 80s and the 90s. In the 2000s is when they started using the synthetic leather that creases up so bad. Back in high school lows were $65 and highs were $70 the only thing that has changed is in the 07s they made the midsole a little thick because the 82s were uncomfortable after a few hours

But no shit, after your video, I'm keeping them, and in fact just unraveled the laces and threw them on. I'd wanted an all white pair but wasn't sure if this one was *it*. If folks don’t want to cough up the money for AF-1 you can cop a pair of Court Visions which is practically the same shoe. More lighter and less chunkier. Though no hate on this shoe whatsoever. This is still a classic shoe.

I got them in eu for 149€ and the leather quality is much nicer than regular that go for 120€. In general tho I’m bit sad that they did not try to eliminate the glue stains and imperfections more because of such a legendary re release.
