I’ll try to join the Discord Hopefully one of these days I’ll be able to afford it. Really like these but it’s missing the AF1 lace charm buckle thing. Almost bought them to replace my old sperrys awhile back but I didn’t; questioned how durable that short Nubuck is against rain.

@@JBless239 Cool. It's just a choice, to wear it out on a dry sunny day or on a wet rainy day. Either way, if they're your shoes, who can tell you different. Wear them how you want or need to.

I remember that I had a pair of AF1 flex in 2004. They had ab way better colour blocking than these imo. The soles were a darker brown as was the inside of the shoe and the shoe laces.

Fun fact. I had a pair of original AF1 and they did come with heal to toe air unit. The AF2 introduced the 3/4 length air. I guess the lifestyle AF1 also adopted that as well

@@ljs508 I was just thinking that... I remember cutting a pair of all 25th anniversary white lows in half (when they turned into biscuits) and it definitely was full length. That being said Im not certain if they're still making today like that or not. Maybe Rose Anvil could do a video.

These are slick! I remember trying to get into Timbs as a good all-year boot but I didn't like standing on solid rubber. As long as these feel like the AF1 lows in terms of comfort, I might cop after missing out on some other drops over the weekend.

My favorite AF1 besides Dunks. Not a huge fan of AJ1. I had the high version, but gave it away as they became too small as I gained weight. I got these as a replacement, but I bate the strap, and that I can’t remove it like you can on the highs. I had Timbs and they suck. Sold them. Don’t even work on ice and I live in Norway. Even hurt my feet. Docs are better tbh. The tractions on these older basketball shoes are perfect for ice and snow.

I wanted a pair of these. Still thinking of grabbing a pair. 🤔 Air Force 1’s on white on white looks fresh when they are new. But once they get beaten up, you need a fresh pair again. 😆 I prefer the wheats over the white on whites.

Just got mine yesterday. So glad they made them small enough in unisex (M 5.5/W 7) so I didn’t have to get GS. It’s endlessly irritating how uncomfortable and cheap GS versions of sneakers are.

HELL YEAH!!! The AF1 lows are one of the best lifestyle silhouettes ever…but when it’s a wheat colorway…it’s DEFINITELY best on a mid!!! Outside of white on whites…these are my Favorite colorway for the shoes (sneak in a little black on black occasionally)!! ❤️❤️😍🔥🔥

I feel a bit silly, I was cleaning out my closet last night and found the older version of these... I don't have a HUGE sneaker collection, but I totally forgot I had these! 😆. It's the 2016 AF1 Wheat "Flax". Only major difference is the ankle straps can be removed.I know it's Spring...but I would wear these today. Problem is, torrential rain today/tomorrow...not about to mess these up in the first few seconds walking out the door.

I wear white air forces in Arizona they get dirty so much it’s a pain, living in the desert these will perfectly blend, you can’t even tell if they’ll have dirt or not, just rock these shoes with a flannel , muscle shirt and some levi’s 🔥

So I've only been buying Nike for a Year come this June and I've managed to stack up on AF1s and AJ1s as well. I live in Upstate NY so Yes our Winters are the Yearly Struggle. I bought a Pair of the Triple Black AF1 specifically for Winter because the Nike Boots kept selling out and now seeing this Flax I'm wishing I got that instead. The GTX Jordans have also been something that I've had Ok Feet during this Winter. Might have to pick up a pair of those Flax for NEXT Winter.

It wasn't called Flax, but I bought the exact same wheat colorway AF1 mids back in early 2000s, and I love it so much I paid resell and full size too small, that I have take out the insole in order to wear them. And tup, gotta wear them with loose straps!

Dang did these come back out again? I have the low in the collection and def love em. Threw em on last weekend. A staple in collection is white on whites, black on blacks aka catch a jux 😉 and def the wheats all low but if I had em def would throw on mids. I like both lows and mids 👍🏾

This may only be answered in Discord but for sizing do you personally buy the size you measure for or go up 1/2 a size? Exp if you measure at 7.5 do you buy size 7.5 or 8.0?
