Is the lack of containment comparable to the Puma Nitro Fusion, the shoe with the x shaped lacing? As soon as the Puma is heating up the uppers getting more loose and heel slippage occurs, and when stopping lateral movements, my foot goes "through" the uppers and sometimes i can feel my pinky toe touch the floor, which is really an issue. The Kyrie Low 5 are much better regarding containment, but where much harder regarding the midsole and feel - the first game was really no pleasure until i got my orthotics.

A small zoom bag in the front would go a long way with that thin foam. Even just under the ball of the foot. Especially for street ball use.
