Very comfortable shoe on and off the court. I have 2 pairs and i been wearing my first pair mostly everyday every week. The material, the cushion are super nice. The insoles aren’t bad and the traction is holding up. I only hoop outdoors and usually Nikes last a good few weeks after hooping outdoors. I worn these on dirt, grass, concrete and they still squeak. Solid shoe and they look better worn

I have a question. What would you choose between the Ja 1s and the nike freak 4 for outdoor? I have the freak 4s, and I really like them. They lasted me for over a year. I was curious to see which one feels more bouncy and would fit my play style (I'm more into the lighter and athletic guard playstyle). Thanks for your time and all the content you provide for us!

Sammy, please stop talking about how cheap the first signature shoes should be. Who says the first shoes should be cheap and trash? I would rather pay 180-200 for a pair of good shoes, instead of 110 shoes that are actually worth 60 based on the tech specs. Completely waste of time and money. Just like the ja 1s and Tatum 1s.

@@donlimon5429 for reference, these are the recent nike shoes I’ve had: PG 5 - developed a weird lump on the midsole within 2 months, returned under warranty PG 5 again - fell apart in 2 months Jordan 36 low - twisted my ankle like 6 times in this shoe, completely unstable. Lacing system was awful. Tossed 🗑️ KD 14 - only shoe that held up but the strap was annoying af and they were narrow, and I twisted my ankle in them. Lebron 20 - worst traction I’ve ever experienced, slipped and fell like 5 times. Way too narrow and twisted my ankle once. Tossed 🗑️ And no, I don’t usually have ankle problems. Literally never twisted my ankle in any of the other shoes I mentioned, and I’ve recently had over 10 running/basketball shoes from other brands. No ankle issues at all. Nike uses cheap materials, makes their shoes narrow to save money on materials, and simply doesn’t have well-designed shoes for normal folks (obviously the nba players get souped up and personalized versions). 🗑️ company 🚮 all my Nike shoes went in the dumpster.
