I was sold after you said it has a wider fit. My Free Metcon 4s have been great for me in my fitness journey and I considered getting a second pair since they’re on sale but the 6 sounds like a true update.

Here is my quick review Metcon Free 5 versus 6 (got them yesterday ) -MF6 feels way lighter, but also feels really cheap in hand versus MF5 -The MF6 Boot makes it hard/a pain to put the shoes on / Take out -MF6 have a softer plushy midsole, the MF5 is way firmer. -MF6 is surprisingly stable while weight lifting. Despite the sole being softer, it seems stable sidewise. -MF6 having less midsole foam exposure could be good. Never have any problem with MF5, even working out on paved road etc. Bottom line : MF6 seems more comfy to walk, but MF5 is a way better fitness Gym shoes. The MF6 feels like KSwiss type shoes, and feels cheap. For me it MF6 are a huge downgrade to MF5

@@koifnenmay be eBay ? The 6 are not too bad, but they just feel a cheap version . My wife like them, but she uses them for walking around 😅

MF5 are trash because of the heel. Exterior side was ok but the interior side was weird, with that "hole" in the middle and then the clunky heel.

Metcon Free 4 was a pain to get into the 5's redesign solved that for me. How's the ankle collar in these?

It’s not as easy to get into as the 5s but not as bad as the 4s.

I’m looking for a new Gym shoes, and I’m currently undecise between this Nike 6 or de Adidas Dropset 3, I just want a confort, stable shoe for leg day and also hit my 30 minute cardio in the stepper machine, can you help me out deciding? Also wanna give props on the reviews, one (if not) the best review videos 🤘🏾

If you want the shoe better for stability and leg day - it's going to be Dropset. FM6 is the better cardio shoe, but if you're just using the stepper or even really short runs, Dropset will be fine.

I have both and they have different shaped toebox. Metcon 5 has toebox shaped bigger in big toe area and Metcon 6 toebox is overall just round. So for me Metcon 6 is actually shorter in lenght because of my foot shape.

@@AMRAP it turned out to be indeed larger, but definitely wider. My foot is long but narrow, they do get tighter with the lace but look like wrinkled haha

@@Rich-hf9cm it was only a women’s colorway, but the shoe fits unisex so sizing goes up to 13.5 mens
