That was great. I was part of the crew that manned the last Nike base in Florida. Then stationed in Germany near the end of US Nike in Europe. We are very fortunate that we never had to fire these 40 foot mach 3 rockets tipped with 20-60 kiloton nukes. It would have been a big boom and would have been a big mess.

Yes you can, the north or south entry gates will direct you to the public areas

The out door museum is pretty cool. make sure you stop there also. If I am right, it's right before the main gate.
