I’m currently wearing v1 after having them sit in my closet for a couple of years. They’ve been surprisingly solid and I move at a decent pace even on easier efforts. Glad to hear that Nike is making tweaks to make it even better.

I was pretty disappointed when I heard they messed with the Infinity Run for v2 and v3. The v1 was the first true running shoe I owned, and until now my running PBs were achieved with them.

@@spartanB0292 I agree V1 was a running shoe. In fact, I didn't get rid of the shoe even after retiring from running with 800km on it. It is on my feet as I write it because of the confort it provides after a run. It got an awful upper update for v2 and v3. V4 looks good but at this weight I cannot consider it as a running shoe anymore. There are better options.

I have the v1 but feel it's heavy and has a feel it's a burden to my running preference. Been instead enjoying pegasus 36 and now pegasus 39. Lately also enjoying deviate nitro2.

@@TolunayOrkun I picked up the v3 a few months ago for $21 at the Nike Outlet. It certainly feels a bit bulkier than the v1 (and ‘infinitely’ bulkier than the Epic React), but they were $21, so I had no choice lol. We’ll see when I get around to them

The original epic react was exceptional. The knit upper was soft and the react foam was softer. They need to bring that shoe back

I *loved* the Epic React of a few years back and was disappointed when it was discontinued. It's pseudo-successor (Infinity OG) and all other recent Nike trainers (looking at you Zoom Fly iterations) just didn't click with me. With that said, I am actually somewhat excited by this shoe.

Did you catch Nike’s cute little trick? “RN” is the credentials of nurses. Extra rubber, water resistant lining, supportive arch - this running shoe is doubling as a nursing shoe. Trying to catch the Hoka wave.

This is the only running shoe in the market that doesn't give telltale signs that it's a running shoe. The other two OGs being the Epic React and the Ultra Boost. I wish running shoe companies designed their shoes like these.

@@toni194 They are still too sporty for me. Asics is getting there with its new nimbus and Cumulus. I'd pick Craft over Mizuno in terms of looks. Tracksmith is the top-dog now but they're so expensive.

You know for sure some people will rock this shoe as a lifestyle kick. I’ve seen people wear invincible run casually, including Vaporfly believe it or not, in the public. Given the heavyweight aspect of this shoe, I can foresee people will buy it as a gym or work shoe.

I was able to try this shoe on this week. I have inserts, due to my awesome feet 😒😒, and I actually had to go up a full size from a 10 to an 11. Still didn’t feel the best in the arch to me. Might revisit it to try later. Great review as always!

How does the ReactX compare to Lightstrike Pro? When I hear "dense and bouncy" that's the foam that immediately comes to mind. Another that I think of is FuelCell, which is less dense but still bouncy - similar comp to either for ReactX?

How does this compare to the zoomx Invincible 3? In the Infinity 4, Nike increased the heel height 5 mm, now similar to the pillowy ZoomX Invincible. I’ve run a dozen pairs of three generations of Infinity run shoes, and rejected the Invincible because it’s so pillowy it feels mushy.

Zoomx is a lot more bouncier than react. People who don’t like marshmallowy feel on a run, react may be your best bet.

I picked this up yesterday and I did have to go a half-size up. I have version 1, which was good, not great. Version 3 was better in terms of fit, but basically the same cushion as version 1. This version definitely deviates from the last three versions, but I also happen to think it's the most comfortable out of all the Infinity models. It's definitely heavier, but the added weight is manageable. I've always compared this model to the Adidas Ultraboost and it's interesting that the Ultraboost got lighter with the latest version, while the Inifinity got heavier.

I tried this on at Dicks last weekend and the fore foot felt too hard, or no cushion, so I went with the Asics gel Nimbus 25. I went with 100% of getting this new Infinity run 4 in white and the yellow or what ever the color is called but I was disappointed with the lack of cushion in the fore foot and under my toes.

I have Epic React 2 and Infinity Run 1. I personally didn't like Infinity Run 2 and 3 (basically upper update to v1) and the shoe got heavier and heavier. Here we go again, even heavier version. Basically, it is a causal use shoe which can be used for recovery and some easy runs. There are much better shoes at this price point. Maybe if I spot a 50-60% discount I might get a pair for causal use (looks good) but otherwise it is a hard pass.

Who cares about weight for a training shoe? No one hands out medals to people for going quick on their workouts. I'll take grip and durability over a tiny speed boost on my long runs 13 times out of 11, and you should too.

This shoe seems like a winner but I can't justify the weight especially in those long recovery runs. The Nimbus sometimes makes me feel like I can't turnover, I can't imagine what this shoe would feel like for me on tired legs.

Far out man annoying. I was able to try the Invincible Run 3 (I’m on the central coast Australia running shoes not everywhere) crazy comfy foam - but not wide enough for me. Not even close. I’d need probably a 4E. Wish there was more wide sizes available. Not all shoes/companies do wide and even less have them available in Oz. These looks amazing really 1 of the best looking runners I’ve seen - wish I could get an extra wide 😂😂
