Nike Invincible 3 Heel Slipping Issues

The launch of the Nike Invincible 3 has come with a less than favorable reception because of one major issue- the fit. Many people have experienced a less than ideal heel lockdown. I too, experienced this issue at first, but was quickly resolved by tying them using a lace lock. Over time, the foam inside the heel has molded to my foot and the shoe (after about 60 miles) provides me with a great fit!

Thanks for posting this. Coming from the Invincible 2s, my Invincible 3 heel slip is disappointing comparing the two iterations.

I still run in the Invincible 1's and it fits like a glove with zero heel slippage. I tried the Invincible 3's today and just walking around in the store my heel slips easily. 😐

I use it as my office shoe and use it for daily commutes. Still must use a thicker socks but eventually the heel slippage went away even without tight heel locks.

You’d be surprised a lot of people don’t use the extra lace holes.

Yeah people forget the foam and heel need to soften up. Also I heard using the last lace loop works too. I think most people only walk or run one mile and decide that it’s bad lol.

Yeah when you get new shoes your shoe is stiff as a rock. Running shoes over time start to feel less stiff and more fitting

I just tried my size at Nike and major heeel slippage just walking. I got another pair of Vomero 17 instead.
