Just got my pair today, they look so much better in person and the fit is very comfortable. I went a half a size up and I’m glad I did. It’s definitely a wearable pair, I agree they would look pretty good with shorts 💫💫

I still have the original, 2009, Kobe 4, Philly. In mine are still in good condition. Also, the back, number on the original , has 23 on them it was for, his , father, Joe, who played for the sixers in the 70’s and worn number 23. But, this new version, has ,Kobe number 24, on the back of them. Still, 🔥.

@KillerBrown-td1gr I have dunks from that long ago I still wear. I feel like the more you wear older pairs the less likely dry rot happens.

@bigjabba4113 dunks air force 1s, Jordan 1s use different mats ...more simple that's why cats can still rock 30 year old pairs. But all the others after 10 years with special cushioning an air bubbles after 10 years is a done deal in most cases

Mamba day has always been on 4/13 and Nike has released shoes on that day previously, 8/24 is Kobe day

Im from philly, one a my friends got dunked on by kobe in HS. Kobe was necer rumored to come to the 76ers. He came for a pre draft workout destroyed Jerry Stackhouse and asked the 6ers not to draft him. He grew up a lakers fan although his dad was a former 6er.

@ToNYD2WiLD August 24th, 2016 the city of Los Angeles declared Kobe Bryant Day (aka Mamba Day). After Kobe's passing in 2020, Orange County added the day. Nike just joined in the celebration after the new contract.

This random, but honestly imo whydavis nori bull soleinclined tony along with weartesters tmii etc are best shoetubers, sizing underdog vibes straightforwards scores og vibes knowledge comparisons sizing tips styles, but if I would give my honest opinion Tony is the best shoetuber to me when I look at every aspect, he has it all bra, gotta show my respect for that. I like that shoetubers give sizing tips, show the inner lining, sockliner and details etc, Tony doesnt do it necessary all the time iguess, but he does the whole set during his vids, he's the most complete looking at every aspect. Its not a comparison or competition, but Im just saying Tony the best to me, no idolism, just factual in my opinion, I feel like if people would look at the aspects etc they would agree. Also he still relevant with the shoe game being/becoming less relevant even tho its a temporary phase probably, but still downhill he keep pushing and giving perfect content, Appreciate it man!
