I know that boots arent related to positions, but im a defender, my focus lays at passing and speed but also a not too thin upper because of the tackles, what woulr you recommend?

Puma future Ultimate is a solid pair of cleats, soft upper and a bit more padded. Usually you can find them on sale, if you do play on ag be careful because the studs are pretty long. Another pair that I haven't tried but they are sold are the new tiempo 10. Pretty light, has a dampen feel to them.

@@Kingmarkmka yes mate. I bought the Phantom academy turf. I usually wear size 9uk and my feet are 10cm wide. I had to go half a size up to 9.5uk and it's snug, I bet 10uk would've been more comfy but snug is what you want to go for. Mercurials are meant for narrow feet so only go for them in that case. You're buying an academy so can't expect all the bells and whistles from each model so it's more like what fits you the best at this tier.

They're both soft after broken in, I will say that the upper on the Mercurial is more structured but still pliable. The gx on the other hand is soft and pliable as well and less structured

@@truejezus legend thanks, nothing compares to that flyknit technology they had on those they felt like socks once broken in and were very pliable and stretchy but will be interesting to get your take. 👍

@danormulla So I feel in the toebox the 15s feel more pliable and soft, but in the midfoot area I would say the 12 are softer, the 15 have more structure to them and since they are not flyknit you won't get that sock like feeling.

I tried on the vapor in store and my size was 47 eu is the phantom the exact same fit or is it bigger? (I have wide feet and with airforces i wear size 45 eu)

I found it to be pretty much the same in terms of sizing. Also the Phantom I way better if you have wide feet.

I ordered the phantom luna 2 earlier today in a size 46 hopefully those Will fit.. i compared the cm chart of the shoes I got and normally I wear 29 cm but the luna 2s are 28,8 cm if I would size up they would go to a 29,2. Would you recommend sizing up if they fit a bit thight of do i gotta wear them out a bit?

I wouldn't say one is better than the other. They are both different and offer something unique. It just depends on what you're looking for in your cleats.

i’m more of a dribbling/playmaker player. i know boots aren’t made for positions but i dribble and shoot from outside the box most of the times so which ones would be better for me

I guess it depends on feel. The Vapor feels normal, and the gx has some grip. So if you like dragging the ball more, the gx might feel too sticky. The Vapor is also a lot more structured, so if that's important to you when you cut in too shoot than Vapor is a better choice

Hi for wide feet, which one is better, i do have vapor 15 and damn it feels tight. I get the true size to fit Looking to replacw with phantom Any advise

@mohdhisyamsutris8943 The Phantom is wider in the midfoot, it's not an overly wide pair of cleats. It for sure has more wiggle room, and the upper stretches a little which is a good thing.
