Nike running shoes are generally on the narrow side . I have never bought any pegasus before . Luckily Nike offer a wider toebox such as infinity react , zoomx invisible and alphafly next % . I have all three models . Zoomx is arguably one of the best foam for comfort and running .

Adidas hype is coming back down again and the only thing keeping them in the game is Yeezy shoes, that is until Kanye decides to part ways as their relationship has deteriorated tremendously. New Balance is the company to watch out for

I'm a sprint runner (amateur, nothing professional, I do it for heart elasticity) and now and then for the lungs I do tempo runs to improve my conditioning, which helps with both sprinting and weightlifiting. Currently I use Asics Novablast 2, as an allround trainer, both for tempo/recovery runs and spriting training sessions (no flats needed as I'm not a professional). I wonder what could be an alternative to the Novablast 2, otherwise I'm about to buy a second pair as I'm impressed. I tried the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite, but the heel cushioning seemed very soft and unstable compared to the Novablast 2, I am a bit heavy with weightlifting, I don't know, what's better in the Nike range compared to Novablast 2, without been twice the price?

Maybe you should consider Winflo shoes then. They are considered as a more budget-friendly model.

@@RUNFAQ Thank you for the answer, Winflo's are much cheaper than the Novablast 2's, I can go above the cost of Novablast, but don't want to go twice as much. And I would prefer a shoe with a better rebound/response as the Novablast, as far as I know the Winflo are soft but not as responsive? Anyways, thank you for the kind recommendation, best wishes.

You are only welcome! As for Winflo, we would say they are balanced but stiffer and lighter than Pegs. For better bounce, consider models with Zoomx from our speed segment. And since prices differ a lot depending on the markets, It's hard to say which one would be the best fit for your budget.

Nice video breaking down Nike's approach to needs in running. I personally do not fall into their regular market. I tend to run on "barefoot" shoes from other brands or on Nike Free Run 5.0 (and have used Free Run 3.0 in the past) because of a better shoe flexibility and ground feel that provides me stability by allowing me to be more aware of the surface beneath. I tried models like the Pegasus, but I just feel very clumsy with that stiff sole. I may be trying the Streakfly sometime in the future based on your description. Thanks for the info.

Nike Zoom Invincible feels very unstable though very comfortable.I wonder how it is categorised into a stability shoe?

It has stability perks but the shoe come out unstable because of zoomx and stack height

I tried the React Infinity 2’s but found that the support on the inside of my arch was uncomfortably poking my arch. The 3’s are coming out soon in US. Any idea if this has been improved? I want to like that shoe except for that issue.

I miss the Epic React - it was a mistake to discontinue that line of shoes. The Infinity React series and the Pegasus series feel different even though they claim they have React Foam as well.

i bought nike peg39 without knowing anything. just base on price and some reviews and it seems positive. i saw your adidas review and comparison and try looking for a nike one. was surprise my nike peg39 ended up the best balance option. I was looking for a budget option and i glad i bought it at a best price and enjoying it ever since. also thanks to your adidas comparison, i probably gona go test out the supernova (and pureboost).
