I bought the Nike Vapor Fly this weekend. They are on sale for $149.95 at PGA Tour Superstore & Golfsmith. I flew the ball past my longest drive with my Taylormade r9. I am amazed at the rudeness of some of the comments - and the spelling. While I disagree with Robs opinion on the color there are a lot of people who feel the same. Robs reviews are fun to watch. His ball striking is pretty good and not the massive distances that Rick gets. He may not hit the ball a long way but, any one that watches a few of his reviews, knows he experienced a really bad accident a few years ago and has not been able to get all his distance back. Also, most pros who teach and fit people for clubs will tell you that, as a general rule, people do not hit the ball as far as they think they do. Robs reviews helps regular golfers get an idea of how the clubs will perform. Great job guys.

+Ryan Fodor, the M2 will most likely be longer by 5 to 10 yards. Or so, However, the price difference makes that extra yards very expensive. There are some other options to. The Srixon Z545 is a great driver and very long. I saw a used one that was about $180. Titleist new 917 driver that is about to be released is supposed to be very long. Also, the Taylor made Aeroburner is on sale at Golfsmith and the PGA Tour Superstore. There are a lot of great drivers out there.

I tried using the Vapor, Vapor Pro and the flex 440. Bought the 440 as I hadn't been playing for so long i preferred the smaller head and hit it much better than the other 2. Great driver

Personally I love these kinds of colors and am happy to see companies doing it. Although it would be nice to see Nike do what Cobra does and offer multiple color options for those that prefer something more traditional. Question for Rick / Dobby, I'm curious why you don't adjust the loft angles to get the best out of the head for Dobby's particular swing? I know when the weight is moved around through the different head designs (or through adjustable options), it can affect swing path and cause the head to come in differently. For example, when I used a Ping G30 driver, I had to have it at 9 degrees to be optimal for me. When I switched to the Ping G LS Tec, I needed to go down to 8 degrees to be optimal as the flight was just too high (I also had to switch from non-tour stiff to tour X stiff). Seeing some of Dobby's hits with the pro and flex in this video makes me wonder if going down a half or full degree might suit him better for those heads?

his swing speed on the good ones were around 93-94 mph and his bad shots were low 80's...not the clubs fault, but rather his own for not having a consistent swing speed.

its inconsistent... yea so is your club head speed, when there is a 10mph difference in club head speed from one shot to the next the results are going to be inconsistent. Honestly wondering whats causing Robs club head speed to vary so drastically from one shot to the next? Nonetheless I appreciate the review and always enjoy when Rob comes in for testing.

On the fourth hit, it was at 900ish spin and produced a wonky ball flight. What would be the causes of it? I'm starting to wonder if this is happening to myself, for the ball flight looked exactly like mine last range session, it just falls like a rock. Thanks.

I think it is because he hit above the center of gravity and on the toe. Add this to the fact that the driver is the low spinning version, if u hit high and above the toe, you'll see a massive drop in spin thus causing the ball to dramatically fall out of the air. Hopefully I'm right , anyone correct me if I'm wrong !

+Cornwall1888 I'm not sure it makes much difference! my first driver was donnay from sport and ski, then I got a hippo driver I used to love,upgraded to the yellow Nike tiger used to use, then g20 now callaway XR, it goes like shit of a shovel when middled but think I was more accurate with other drivers!

I've watched this video more than once and as I continue to watch other golf youtubers and start to fully understand how much the user plays into the overall response of the club..I find it difficult for a mid to high handicapper to say a club is "too inconsistent", when the inconsistency is due to the user themselves.

+KHLthe2nd Don't think its his swing speed, smash seems (oddly) constant at 1.45 so i would guess its actually the clubs that give very varied ball speeds, and club head speed is just calculated from a fixed 1.45 smash factor value.

I think they aimed these for people of the younger market. like many companies are doing the stars (pros) are younger and younger people can relate to them more. I see it as jazzing the sport up much like Rickies fashion choices. makes it a less old man's sport but attractive. my 2 pennies or cents
