Good video Pete... Funny seeing you holding that driver with your M1 hat on. Nike Rep needs to bring you a hat next time. Haha

Great sounding and even better sounding drivers from Nike! I didn't get along great with their last drivers but I'll have to try these out when they hit retail and see if they work for me.

I saw on Nike's website that they charge $60 for a dozen golf balls!!! I forget which ones they were but they came in a white box
@Newmyyy9 жыл бұрын
That was their "Proto" golf ball. Basically a prototype for sale to the public and it was a limited supply and they sold out in minutes.

Many thanks for these Nike reviews. They've convinced me to delay my decision made last month to purchase a set of new Nike's until 2017, if even then. Best review of the new Nike drivers was Rick's slow, uncertain "hmm," followed by another muted, even more uncertain "hmm." With the Nike rep standing right there, perhaps the reviewers were more circumspect, demonstrating the famous British polite reserve. A less polite American might unreservedly proclaim: 'Nike in 2016 has just about the ugliest color scheme for golf clubs in the 21st century, using a blue reminiscent of the fragility of a robin's egg matched with its day-glow, tennis ball, yellow/green swoosh that evokes the memory of mucous on a trajectory. And the new irons in Rick's review! Jeez! WHO designed them, and worse, who at Nike approved them for sale to the public? They look like a tumor is growing off the toe end. Does Nike believe there is a new market for tumescent, effeminate aesthetics in golf clubs? Regardless of how well they perform, I believe my fellow Nike fans will not be buying the new 2016 sets, simply because they 'look' so weak.' Many thanks for the review; it has definitely influenced my decision to stick with my old Nike's.

Okay. That is that. I would hit them both. However, I went to the pro shop to buy a Cobra Fly Z+. After getting fitted, the numbers said Callaway Big Bertha Alpha after hitting just about every driver widely available in retail shops. Sigh, never thought I'd buy Callaway, but the numbers...

You guys seemed very skeptical about this club as am I and a lot of people. I am a Nike fan as I own the VR Pro Combos, and Vapor Speed driver but their new line just seems to be meh to me. It also seems they try to incorporate standing out as a golf club. I miss the sleek, classic look of the VR line :/

@vicibox9 жыл бұрын
+Erik Newman Absolutely I wouldnt trade my Covert woods and VR ProCombos for anything in the current range, I have pretty much decamped to Callaway woods and Mizuno irons which are perfect matches for my older Nike stuff unlike anything Vapor :-(

@zefolantar9 жыл бұрын
Peter....I haven't tried a Nike driver in awhile, but oddly really think these 2 look really cool! I'm guessing the Fly Flex is more forgiving? Have any of you sweet-swingers compared them to the M1, G30 & King LTD for distance? If not, is that comparison coming soon? Thanks in advance. CHEERS from snowy Canada!!! 👍🍺
