Nike Vomero 17: After 100 Miles

Thanks for the video 📹 What's your thought / review that I'm looking to purchase for casual use / walking. I'm liking the design and the colorway schemes.

As a casual and walking shoe, I would still recommend these shoes. The tread is durable enough for regular use, and they are breathable unless you typically have issues with hot feet. Another important factor for casual and walking shoes is support. The Vomeros are neutral and may require orthotics or other accommodations if arch support is a common concern for you. If you have already considered these factors, these shoes would be a good option!

Good review. Just got these today, I am happy with my 1st run they are really good. I hope to get couple of 100 miles before they worn out.

So vomero kind of sits in that easy day/long run category and not so much for daily training?

I would say that depending on your daily mileage and pacing it could go either way. For most people that only have one shoe this will be a good daily trainer. Having slightly more cushion than the Pegasus. If you can have another shoe in your rotation I recommend the vomero to be in the place of the easy/long run spot while you rock a Pegasus for daily miles etc. hope that helps!

Thank you. so... for someone who thinks the Pegasus 39 is too "flat" too, and I wanna step up my running game and run towards the 10k, maybe more in the future. So... Vomero 17 or InfinityRN 4 ?

Although both of these shoes aren't considered fast, I would say that if you plan on going faster more often and in races the Vomero would be ideal. The InfinityRN 4 would be softer overall but it is also 2 ounces(56g) heavier and has a 1mm less of a drop compared to the Vomero. Happy running!
