Nike Zegama 2 | Watch BEFORE you buy these Trail Shoes

I’ve had my pair for 2 months now, and absolutely LOVE them. I do agree with the sticking points that the laces need to be longer, and I’d like more of a bump cap in the front of the shoe, that being said; they are SO comfortable! You put them on, and they beg you to get out and go! I’ve ran on trails and road with mine, and the cushioning combined with the way your foot sits in the shoe provides a nice supportive ride. I’m hoping they make a goretex version to transition into the wetter months. Overall, I’m very happy with my pair.

It doesn’t seem to be this model the Gore-Tex focus is on, but rather the new Pegasus Trail 5 Gore-Tex. Maybe these for good weather and Peg 5 GTX for the bad weather 😂

I have the Zegama 1 and they’re hitting on some good things but lack in traction. I just scored a pair on Nike US for $82 only with one colorway. Great review! Spot on! 🇬🇧

I forgot to mention in the review that they are very stable also, your ankle feels well supported and also well supported through the mid foot. That is a great deal! Now I wonder how they fit for slightly wider feet. I have read some people saying the Zegama 2 are narrow. How would you compare them to the Speedgoat 5? They fit snug for me but the material has some stretch to it which makes it bearable. Do you think the Zegama 2 fits more or less narrow than the Speedgoat 5? Cheers for a great review

je viens de mettre du papier journal humide dans mes zegama 2 , j ai aussi mouillé le tissus , je vais laissé ca comme ca pour detendre le tissu , c est une stuce de cordonier , j esperes ainsi recuperer de la place au dessus de mon pied , c est la critique que je vois le plus souvent sur cette zegama 2 ; je vous tient au courant des resultat avec un essai demain .

@@Runningonthemind je reviens vers vous pour vous dire mon ressenti , et bien c est une chose qui a réglé le problème , donc le papier journal humide en boulle au fond de la chaussure pour faire comme s il y avait un pied très fort dans la chaussure a détendu de mesh 😀, j ai laissé ça 24h ...on trouve des vidéo sur KZbin a ce sujet

une des ameliorations que Nike a fait sur cette chaussure , est au niveau de la stabilitée , la chaussure est 1 cm plus large sous le medio pied , ensuite je trouves que le laçage est beaucoup plus efficace , j ai dailleur eu des soucis au debut car cela me coupait la circulation sanguine comparativement a mes zegama 1 , il a fallu que je revois mon laçage et que je desserres l avant pied aussi pour etre plus a l aise , pour la longeur de lacet en moins ca ne me deranges pas trop , je n utilises donc plus le dernier trou , mais ce ne me gene pas . Elles tiennent chaud , ca c est un point negatif en été , sinon , la meme zegama 1 avec le medio pied plus large et la semelle vibram aurait ete parfait , mais ils ont sorti une belle mise a jour , certe plus chere , mais le Vibram ca se paye !!! en tous cas , j ai toutes les chaussures trail de la gamme Nike , et ce que je peus dire a propos de cette marque c est que leur amorti ne se deteriore pas au bout de 250 km comme sur les Hoka ou sur les altra , ou la semelle devient plate et sans vie , la ou l amorti et le dynamisme chez nike ne bouge pas .

Thanks so much for the comment, I agree with your points and great feedback. I'm just going to translate your response so that others can read your very good points. Do you also have the ultrafly? I have them also, and enjoy wearing them but I definitely feel that the Zegama 2 is more comfortable. I also didn't personally feel the plate in them as much as I thought I would - I wasn't expecting anything like the vaporfly, but expected to feel more of an aggressive push form the ultrafly. I think they will bring out an Ultrafly 2 pretty soon. Thanks again, Appreciate the feedback.

Here is the translation - Thanks so much for the feedback : one of the improvements that Nike has made on this shoe is in terms of stability, the shoe is 1 cm wider under the midfoot, then I find that the lacing is much more effective, I actually had problems at the beginning because it cut off my blood circulation compared to my zegama 1, I had to review my lacing and loosen the forefoot too to be more comfortable, for the less lace length it doesn't bother me too much, I don't So don't use the last hole anymore, but it doesn't bother me. They keep you warm, that's a negative point in summer, otherwise, the same Zegama 1 with the wider midfoot and the Vibram sole would have been perfect, but they released a nice update, certainly more expensive, but the Vibram it pays for itself!!! in any case, I have all the trail shoes in the Nike range, and what I can say about this brand is that their cushioning does not deteriorate after 250 km like on the Hoka or on the altra, or the sole becomes flat and lifeless, where the cushioning and dynamism in Nike does not move.

@@Runningonthemind non je n ais pas et je n acheterais pas l ultrafly , ce n est pas une gamme de chaussure qui m interresse , par contre j attends de voir ce qu ils vont faire avec la wildhorse 9 , car la 8 est une sacré bonne chaussure .
