Just bought the ZF6. What a ride! Can’t say it’s the best at anything but it’s great at what it does. Tempo and long runs are great.

This channel is well-informed, clearly passionate, and useful. Up there with road4adventure, trail&kail, filmyrun, ben parkes, Andrea filliti, and the trail goat Jeff p and conversational pace. Imagine a mega vlog with all of them doing a proper ultra all testing different kit. It would be the avengers of shoe tubers. Great combo of UK and Europe and the US.

I love the speed 4's. But they are a bit too firm for me. I preferred the 3's. Still great fun to run in.

S4 is king of stability as super trainer. I couldn't run in S3 but S4 works 4 me. Next shoe is hmx3 or Brooks Hyperion max 3.

I’ve had all four Speed models, with over 300 miles on versions one and two and over 400 miles on version three. I just have roughly 30 miles on version four but I like it as equal as the other models. Probably my favorite overall shoe I’ve ever run in.

I was so disappointed with Speed 3 as I found it rather flat. Bought Speed 4 recently but found out about zf6, decided to return Speed 4 since there is only minor improvement between Speed 3 according to many KZbin reviews. Bought zf6 instead. Zf6 is very comfortable n cushy but lack of snappiness. Wish I could still buy Speed 1 or 2. They were the best, snappy and responsive.

I don’t love the ES4 like I loved the ES2. A bit of that has to be nostalgia and also now there is better competition in the same space now. Also the Speed 2 was actually pretty cheap compared with the 4

This is such a great channel, very informative and to the point, keep up the great work! I am running a 30K/18 mile road race in Feb (goal pace is 5.00 min p/km/ 8 min p/mile) and not sure if I want to run it in a carbon racer. I have done a lot of my tempo/interval training in the Speed 4 and like them a lot. if you would have to choose between these 2 shoes, which one would you choose for the race ? I am concerned beyond the half marathon distance, the Speed 4 might not have enough energy return.

I recently replaced my speed 3s with speed 4s. Think I preferred the 3s but the more I’m running in the 4s the more I appreciate the slightly softer ride. Just don’t like the speed 4 stretchy laces.

The speed 4 has a firmer ride than the speed 3... The youtuber got it wrong as well. The foam in the 3 is much softer and bouncier than the 4. This is also confirmed by durometer tests, which you can see at RunRepeat.
