Being 5ft 7, a high ride height appeals to me. Also, my right knee has seen better days so the extra cushioning is most welcome.

I believe you are comparing to the NikeCourt Zoom NXT? In that case I would say one of the main differences is the profile or fit. Our playtester Jason with a wider foot type, really liked the feel and fit of the Vapor 11, the upper is relatively soft, and it has a decent amount of room through the mid section. Like the biggest knock with the Zoom NXT is that plastic piece located in the mid foot region, it sort of fits narrow and for most it can dig into the foot. Besides that I would say underfoot cushion is pretty close between the two. Troy, TW

The outsole on this shoe is pretty dense, so will likely be best on hardcourts. That said, we do have some Vapor Pro 2 shoes that are designed for clay courts, or depending on where you are shopping from, we have a lot of clay court shoe options at Tennis Warehouse Europe. Troy, TW

I heard there’s some room in the ankle and heel, would this shoe be perfect for wearing an ankle brace with it?

These shoe should work well with an ankle brace based on the fit, however we haven't actually tried them with an ankle brace on. Troy, TW

We wouldn't necessarily rate this shoe as wide, however our playtester Jason who has a wider foot type really enjoyed playing in this Vapor 11. So its a pretty comfortable and accommodating fit and feel to this one. Troy, TW

Hello Tw! Is this sole exclusive to hard courts? I play on clay courts.

It was built to be optimal for hard courts but can be used on clay as well. There are a few Nike Vapor Pro 2 models that offer a full herringbone clay specific outsole though which might be better for you! Michelle, TW

How does this shoe compare to the ASICS gel resolution 9?

Both have pretty good stability, however the Gel Resolution 9 will be a bit more stable, the upper is a bit more supportive, and they are also more durable. The Vapor 11 is a bit more comfortable overall, the uppers feel softer, and maybe just a bit more speedy profile or feel as you move. However for being more of a durability type of shoe (6-month outsole guarantee) the Gel Resolution 9 feels pretty fast too after a slight break-in. Troy, TW

When you mention the 2's, you are referring to the Vapor Pro 2? These Vapor 11's are a bit heavier and have some added stability features built-in. The Vapor Pro 2's are a bit lighter and slightly more flexible, closer to what a classic Vapor would feel like. The Vapor 11 is a more sturdy and and stable feel to a Vapor, but also pretty comfortable. Troy, TW
