This pretty much confirms the plotline. By the way, "You can (not) evade" is the name of the second OVA, where the battle agains Ramiel happens. Misato has a crucial part in that story, so playable or not she has to be there. I'm not counting on her being playable though, she not having a Nikke weapon is a big red flag, but well see. I loved the choice of weapons and how they look. I can barely contain my excitement, this is gonna be great!

Personally, I'm pretty stoked to get Neon Genesis Evangelion as a collab. NGE was from what I consider the "Golden Era" of anime, the 1990s. I might not love it as much as I used to when I was in high school, but I still enjoy it. I also agree with your guesses about what weapons the EVA pilots have - Asuka has some kind of bullpup-style AR, Mari has some kind of SR that looks vaguely Halo/Covenant-ish, and Rei might possibly have some kind of RL or SG. Misato with the Glock... If she were to be a playable character, maybe she'd have an SMG, as there was the G18 that's semi and fully auto. I can only hope for that last one. 😅

I have to keep reminding myself that the purpose of collabs is to lure non-Nikke players to the game, not to please those of us who already play. Even tho I'm still a passionate Misato enjoyer, I've soured on the IP a lot in the decade since I was last a teenager. So no matter how I feel about EVA, I have to remember that the collab isn't for me.

If Misato is not playable, not pulling for any characters even though Eva anime is not bad. I'll still enjoy collab story but they're not gonna get my money this time around even for collection purposes. I've done it for Chainsaw, Nier (my fav), and ReZero but I don't even use them anymore. Maybe Emilia for PVP but thats it

@Zaku_Phantom Depending on wallpaper and how good they are definitely just grabbing 1 copy at first. Doing mlb pulls later once we get confirmation if the wallpaper doesn't entice me haha

I went all full into 2B and I got her background and even her expensive paid skin. I haven't regretted that decision. 2B is amazing! Yet I pulled for Rem and Emilia and only got Rem and I totally regretted it cause Rem isn't that great and it cost me a lot of gems, so unless I like A LOT the character, don't pull. Save for the chars you really like. For me, this is a big saver since I don't like any of the chars and I don't have any hopes for the story since most of the Collab stories had been terrible (except for Nier, that was 10/10). I hope this Collab story is at least fun. And well, in summary, pull for the ones you like most. That's all.

When I check the comments in the japanese channel I can hardly find anyone saying anything negative. Asians still love Evangelion. I'm willing to bet this will be a massive success.

Even thou i want 3 SSRs, im starting to think it might be too much for the community and new players, this just might be a Mari SR unit with 2 Skins, the first ever collab SR with skins, maybe, 1 paid skin. 3 SSR would be amazing for people who have tons of Abnormal Gear gathering dust in their inventory, but it would be a nightmare for casual F2P players and new gamers who would like to get them all. It would be too difficult for a F2P and expensive for new players who would like to get them at least 1 of each, i cannot imagine the people who would like to MLB them for the L2D wallpapers. This collab will be crazy either way, but we will see this weekend when they announce what really will happen, leaks are just leaks, they are not the finalized product, and they might be wrong as well, who knows, this weeken we will find out.

If we are to believe the leak, it’d be strange to give the sr character 2 additional skins wouldnt it? Would they really ask people to pay for an sr skin?
