It seems as though you've made this comment with the intensions of sharing enlightenment for musical expressions in ministry, but it is imperative to understand something very fundamental. For those of us who are GIFTED to sing (like Nikki Ross) the riffs & runs that we do are not for show.

It's apparent that you are not vocally inclined, and if you are able to half way hold a piece of a note, I would dare to believe that you aren't able to do the riffs and the runs. As one who knows Nikki Ross EXTREMELY WELL (I'm not a fan or a groupie - but I know her FOR REAL, FOR REAL) I will attest to the fact that her vocal presentation is not only tasteful AND timely, but it is the sound of her relationship with the Father.

Its almost to the point to where if a singer male or female cant run/riff its often said cant sing. I personally dont think thats the case bcs again she has a beautiful voice and she did in fact show her spirit in this video, just wish she didnt run/riff so much in most of her songs. You almost lose sight and spirit of what the song is really saying for cheering on her low registers, riffs, runs, and high notes

I love Nikki....but id have to agree with those that think a bit much much is the title for this one. If i were the organist i would've just stopped playin. For things like this that are unrehearsed, its best to keep it simple...something nikki almost never does!

I usually love nikki ross videos w\hen she sings BUT THIS WAS JUST RUNNING A MARATHON. All those riffs and runs are not caused for all the time. You have to know when to put them in and when to LEAVE THEM OUT.
