Good times. Great scenery. Mrs and I are a bit older now. Both of us have some medical issues that have kept us close to home for the last few years. So, we’re living vicariously through you. And, you’re doing a good job. Our two youngest grandchildren will visit this weekend. Maybe I can set up our tent in the back yard. Our city recently extended the nearby paved trail all the way to the largest park in our city. Safe travels, Nikki.

I’m late to this video but what you said about maxing out on your options rings so true. A couple weeks ago my garage door mysteriously opened by itself in the middle of the night and I’ve taken multiple steps to improve my security since then, from getting a stronger door between the house and garage, to installing an alarm, and even signing up for a self defense class.

Name your new plant Rico! Your safety tips remind me of one of your videos from a year or 2 ago, where you were parked for the night and felt some unsettling vibes. I can't remember if you moved your vehicle (but I think you did) to somewhere you felt more safe. Recently, your cousin Sarah was embarking on her 1st wild camping experience and she too felt something was off and left for a more public spot -- I think it was a Love's truck stop. My point being is that perhaps trusting your instincts is an excellent safety tip -- if something, or a place or a person is making you uneasily twitch, follow your gut and hightail yourself out to a more secure location or somewhere where assistance is more readily available. Love your new blanket you purchased along with your dashboard plant! I can't wait to see the design for your own blanket you selected for your next Shop item!

Name for the baby plant: Dasher (given its seat in the van and its frontward position like Santa's reindeer). All your safety tips are recommended for anyone who lives/works for extended periods on the road, so thank you, Nikki, especially the satellite SOS. Run-flat tires and your Jackery are also worthwhile safety investments. I'm glad Sarah, Tori, and you survived the mudbath and got to enjoy the cold plunge. Safe travels to all of you!🙏🏾❤️👍🏾

@12:10 - Another safety tip to add is always to check your vehicle before and after a trip - the fluids , tire pressue , any noticeable "spots" where the vehicle was parked. Hopefully it's not too serious about your truck. @17:38 Great tip not to put any PII - Personal Identifiable Information that tells you who you may be. Always double check that you have everything before leaving a location like the leveling-blocks ( LOL )

On January 29th, I found 5 newborn puppies (with umbilical cords still attached to their bellies) in a dumpster. Three of them survived and are about to turn 6 months old. Before I got them, I didn't care much about my health and safety, but now I even go to the doctor for stupid things because I'm afraid of dying. I know no one will take care of my 3 dogs and 2 cats if I die. Now I think twice before doing anything.

I love this channel and all the people Nikki associates with!!! Everyone in general should always be aware of your surroundings especially in this day and age regardless if you living on the road or going to the store. But if living on the road you should always be prepared for anything and you should have some way to defend yourself and or your belongings, whether thats pepper spray a taser loud alarms or even a conceal carry because someone who is up to no good does not care about you in the least. I'm no expert at all but I am always aware of my surroundings.....

When your boondocking like that you should try and use your four low range on the transfer case. It takes a lot of stress off of the engine and stops it from overheating. Or you could keep it in 4/4 high and shift your transmission into first or second gear depending on the speed you were going

You sir are the definition of class and sincerity, and you truly make this world a better place, so thank you for being you....and thank you for your honesty where you as a man even fear your fellow man and travel "armed" just because of that reason.
