I feel like most women know that there’s a “safe zone” with pregnancy and that it’s best not to tell everyone on earth until you’re out of those critical weeks (mostly because your own loss is already heartbreaking, having everyone knowing and sending their condolences can often make it worse). If a celebrity isn’t “showing” and isn’t confirming or denying, it’s very likely they don’t want to announce it because they’re in those critical weeks 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Mariah was clearly not showing yet, and it was gross of Ellen to manipulate her like that just for her shitty tv show. A friend of mine only told me and her husband about her pregnancy and she was devastated when she lost the baby early on. I can’t imagine the entire world knowing, AND Mariah has bipolar too. The sad thing is that Mariah's has so many miscarriages and performed a day later for fundraisers she was committed to. Also she almost died giving birth in her 40s which caused a huge amount of trauma for her body to recover and people make fun of her for all the issues she's tried to overcome. Mariah is one of the kindest people who is only portrayed as rude because people don't get the humour she's playing to mock people who did her wrong, like her ex husband who owned half the entertainment industry. I went to the Ellen show as part of the audience and it’s super awkward when it goes to comercial she walks off stage then would come back and start dancing. The audience has to be super excited and fake laugh to have a little camera time. They pick the audience members who they want to ask questions too two hours before the show. When I went the lopez family got a huge bucket of money and she interviewed them for like 2 minutes then went to comercial and didn’t even acknowledge them they were sent backstage and the next person to interview would get ready to come out

Also when you sign the paperwork to be on the show you are a "contestant" and not a guest. Contestants have less legal rights and have to agree to waive rights to sue if something goes wrong like being injured on set or any property damage/theft happens they can't be held liable for anything. As someone who has been in the audience on The Ellen show, I can confirm she is sketchy as hell. I went while Demi Lovato was there but before we came in they had everyone fill out a form asking if we were going through hard times financially and if we needed a new car. So of course, everyone is filling out the form giving personal information about how they are in debt, or they have kids an no car etc. So we had to turn them in before they let us into where the film the show, and basically everyone was really excited and had their hopes up because we all thought one of us was going to be winning a new car. Later on in the show Ellen plays a video of some lady (who was clearly an actor) at work as a school teacher, and announces that she won the car. So like I said earlier, they just had us fill out a form, not submit videos or anything like that. So they had us fill out forms so that we would think we all had an equal chance to win a car, but they gave it to an actor who was in on it the whole time so basically the whole thing was fake. Ever since then I never trusted Ellen, her whole show is a scam.

Here is a good one. Ellen refuses to meet/grant Make A Wish kids. When I was 17 I was granted a wish due to my CF, Gastroparesis and Mast Cell Disease and without hesitation I said I wanted to go to the Ellen show, meet her and see a taping. Make-A-Wish warned me they have had problems with her in the past but would absolutely try. Just days later I got a call back saying she denied the request. The staff members said she will NOT see sick children and tried to claim its because of liability reasons (even though MAW sends a nurse/medical team with you) but i was able to come get a tour of the studio at a time when filming was not taking place and i wouldnt be allowed backstage. Well im sorry but i am not about to waste my once in a probably very short lifetime wish on that! Would it have been that hard for her to let me go see a show and say hi even from a distance? That was all i wished for as a life long Ellen fan. But no, so i lost all respect for her that day. She is only kind when it will get her views, recognition and more money, not out of the goodness of her heart. Its all fake.

Honestly, Ellen's interview with David Bowie was when I realized how self-centered she was. Here she was, a foot away from one of the most iconic musical geniuses of all time, and rather than asking real questions about his music and his passions, she interrupted him every 5 seconds trying to be funny. Bowie rarely ever did interviews and he was a genuinely funny person, so his interview with Ellen was absolutely painful to watch.

It's funny because everyone calls her generous... But she never actually gives away her own money... Notice all the money given away to people is from other companies like Shutterfly or Cheerios. Even the free gift cards she gives out during her show are not her own money .... They're usually donated from the place the gift card is issued to for publicity to get viewers to shop there. Idk how this makes her "generous" when she's not giving away any of her own money.

I never met her, but when she's on her show, she seems so fake and disingenuous. She will try her best to make a joke at her guest expense. I always wondered why I felt that way. I just couldn't put up with it and stopped watching. Explains so much now. I usually have a good intuition on people. Never second guess yourself.

Even back in the 90's,I could tell she's a really dark person,her eyes always gives me chills,and it wasn't because of the color. Her expression says she's smiling for the money,but the second you're alone with her,she will put you through hell while laughing. But she's just SO GOOD at faking it,and people are too easy to believe,that's how she got richer and richer. Sure she finally got exposed,but she can survive the rest of her life with the 400 million dollars. The lesson of this is really for the audience:expose these people as soon as possible,so no more people will suffer from them.

I used to go to a few live tapings of shows like Conan, Queen Latifah, and Ellen. I just remember how cold she was to her audience when she went to commercial. I was able to "sub in" for another audience member after Kanye released his music video Bound 2, and I got a close seat and was so stoked. I didn't want to be rude but I waited patiently to see if she'd look up at the audience during break and say hi. She did look up and looked what I thought was right at me, so I smiled and did a small polite wave and she appeared grumpy and and just went back to her notes. Then when the camera's came on she did this weird switch of being super cheery again. I went to see Queen Latifah a bit later I think and she couldn't stop talking to her audience. Conan was also delightful, hugging and hi-fiving his audience. I've only had that experience with Ellen, I thought she was maybe having a bad day, but it turned me off of her.

This also happened to me. I also say in one of her live shows and i was so excited. But omg i thought she would interact with the audience more. Nope she, just like you said, just stuck to her note and didn't even acknowledge the audience. I was so devastated because I really loved her and her show. But she is nothing like she is on camera. After the show aired I stopped watching her show, i was so over her. And two years ago, i got the chance to sit in a live taping for The Real and let me tell you, that day they had filmed already 2 tapings and when they got to film our show. This girls had the best energy, the moved at us talked to us, they were awesome. Loved every minute of the show.

Sarah Obah yeah thinking back it was always a bit uncomfortable to watch. I watched her with children a lot and didn’t think much of it but thinking back there was something really unnatural about those interviews. I can’t explain it but how she interacts with ppl is really weird, You have all kinds of interviewers and usually I either don’t care or can place them but her way of interviewing seems forceful and not warm.
