I hate to speculate but I’m guessing the reason she never gave us one is because she hasn’t been out as trans until recently, and she may have been worried her natural hair would give it away (I’m pretty sure she’s always wearing extensions). red will always turn into pink around the edges when its blended because when red is lightened it becomes pink. she means a red that stays red where the colour was applied rather than applying pink even though it's deeper in the pan. The red in this palette is a true red ! :) I have this palette and the red is just as good as love plus by sugar pill !

@@wonyoungyie1536 we both understand how it works... She meant it the way she said it. I'm obviously not her and can't totally speak for her but I'm positive you just explained something we already knew. In the video she said it didn't blend out to be pink like most reds do, but it did and then she added more pink. We can see the process and like the og commenter said it may have been the monitor changing the color a bit... But I doubt it bc her eye looks weren't blended whatsoever, not like they usually are.

I completely agree. I've had to buy more single eyeshadows in specific neutral colors than anything because I WILL run out of them before any other colors (except black... I run out of that pretty fast also). Unfortunately I don't always have time to to put on a fabulous pink or red color eye look, so a neutral cat eye is my go to.

The three shades are very similar but have different undertones so that whoever is using them has options and still at the end of the day also has multiple useful transition shades to use. Jaclyn mentions it in her palette reveal video! :)
