THE JACLYN HILL X MORPHE PALETTE REVEAL + SWATCHES

I rarely ever comment but the hate on this video is insane. 1. Yes, Jaclyn created this palette to make money. That is why every makeup brand creates product - to make money. That's the point. 2. For those complaining there is no mirror, I'm sure you have another mirror in your stash. These 35 shadow palettes are huge and not exactly designed for travel anyway so a travel mirror isn't necessary. 3. For those complaining about the price, are you kidding? The HUDA Beauty palette costs $65 and I'm sure most of you have purchased four-pan highlight palettes that cost more than this! There are 35 eyeshadows in here, meaning they are a little over $1 each. There are very few eyeshadows you can buy for a dollar and I'm sure the ones you can won't live up to this quality. 4. Literally who gives a crap about the cake? I haven't bothered to do a side-by-side comparison of the cake and the palette to see how close they are and if you have, just so you can throw shade, you honestly need to get a hobby or something. If she said they were the same, she would have ruined the surprise of the palette reveal. If she said they were different and they turned out to be the same, she was obviously just trying to throw people off the scent so as not to ruin the surprise! 5. Again, for those saying she is just scamming people for money/ she should give her money to charity etc., you're an idiot. Jaclyn does give to charity. Do all of us work hard at our jobs every day to give all of our money to charity? Perhaps we donate some but can you honestly tell me you haven't spent some of your hard-earned money on a treat for yourself? What people do with their own money is their own business. 6. For those complaining about the swatches, I honestly think swatches are hard to judge by regardless of how they're done. Some of my favourite eyeshadows swatch horribly but apply beautifully. Swatches give us an idea of colour but not performance. Stay tuned for reviews from multiple sources and be an informed consumer before spending money if you're so concerned about being scammed. I don't understand what has happened to KZbin in the past few years. It used to be an incredibly supportive community and now it is littered with so much hate from people who feel the need to point out every small negative and pick others apart. It's sick. I'm definitely not a die hard Jaclyn fan but I love that she is following her dream, is an incredibly passionate person and obviously put so much love into this product. She is an inspiration. I bought this palette in October 2017 and I still use it 95% of the time. For a solid couple of months, it was the only eyeshadow in my collection. I’ve grown a little since then, but this palette still stands as my all time favorite. I’ve recommended this countless of times and completely swear by it. It’s so versatile and is truly a staple because it has a little bit of almost everything. I come back to this video sometimes to relive the magic, lol. It’s that great!

Only Eternal Only Eternal except.. the pallets are completely different? A very large portion of Jaclyn’s pallet colors are more coppery, yellow/orange/browns shades with a couple of blues and a purple and some black. James’ palette is basically a rainbow pallet- with shades of red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, pink, brown, and a couple of neutrals. I’m not bashing on Jaclyn’s pallet at all, but, they’re really not the same. I can see how someone would think the lighter yellow and orange shades are similar to the James Charles pallet, but both products are definitely unique from each other.

I don't understand the comments saying the pallete is overpriced. It's ONE DOLLAR PER SHADOW. That's an incredible price! Also, she has NO control over shipping. Shipping varies a lot on international orders because it depends on so many factors (how many facilities they have, the type of product being shipped, etc.) I'm sooo excited for this palette and for you Jaclyn! LaSa61 its overpriced, saying its around $1 an eyeshadow is a marketing tactic. there are many other well known palettes that are less than a dollar an eyeshadow. this is more expensive because morphee and jaclyn and all the other affiliates with codes have to make money off of it.

BrittBratBaby All the Naked palettes are $50 for 12 shadows. Lorac palettes are between $40 and $50 for between 10 and 16 shades. Anastasia Beverly Hills is $40 for 14 shades. Too Faced is $50 for 18 shades. Tarte is $50 for 12 shades. Kay Von D is $50 for 12 shades. Natasha Denona is $130 for 15 shades. So unless you're talking about drugstore palettes (most of which I don't think are worth ANY money) there really aren't cheaper palettes. And quite frankly, I prefer all of my Morphe palettes to my Naked palette. I actually gave it away because there is so much fallout for not much pigment. People complain that palettes aren't perfect but then complain about the price. You can't have it both ways. Is Morphe as good as Natasha Denona? No. But ND costs three times more. But I think Morphe is far better than drugstore and just as good, if not better, than some of the higher end palettes that cost more. Morphe is excellent quality for the price point.

I have been pretty uninspired with makeup for the past couple of months, products seem to come out and all look the same to me or not be totally POC friendly. The fact that you actually have a matte brown made my eyelids twitch. Do you realize how long I've wanted and waited for someone to come out with a palette that has a matte brown??? BRAVO to you. So, I don't live near an Ulta and a Sephora is about 1-1/2 away. So, cheers for the internet. Almost forgot to mention that I'm 4 months away from turning 71 and I've been a makeup junkie since childhood. When my mom finally gave me permission to wear lipstick, I ran all the downtown. For those complaining about the price if you break it down it's not bad at all. If you use Jaclyn's code & another code like Kathleen's or something it goes from $38 to basically $31. Even if you just use Jaclyn's code it's less than $35. And I've never seen a bad word about Morphe until KZbinrs started collabing w/them & suddenly people hated them. I've used Morphe for about 2 years now and the quality is amazing! Shoot, the Urban Decay NAKED palettes & the Too Faced palettes are over $50 for nowhere near the same amount of colors! Just enjoy it people. If it's not your cup of tea then don't buy it, but don't come on here to ruin the fun & joy with your negativity and complaining.

I don't understand some people.. If you don't want the palette, don't buy it and move on?? Morphe products (in my opinion) are honestly really good. You know what you should do or would be really awesome...for you to create 5-7 looks with this palette and upload a video everyday for the week it launches. That way no one will be like "omg you already did a look with this pallet" bc it would be like a week of just launching/promoting your pallets. Hi Jaclyn, I hope you see this. I’ve never really watched your videos before or used Morphe but my friends got me this palette for my birthday. When I used it I was SHOCKED. I am a huge make up and Sephora junkie, I have almost everything from every brand and have NEVER- NOT EVEN CLOSE had a palette as good as this one. I was curious why it came out so great so I came here to see if you did a video on it. Now, after listening to you I understand why it’s so great. You 100% need your own make up line if you’re putting this much care into a perfect product. Maybe you already have one- sorry if you do. You would outsell any celebrity brand at Sephora any day and become a contender in the top make up brands- I don’t have a doubt in my mind. Okay, let's break this down. 35 shades for 38$. That is 1.09 for each eyeshadow. Every single shadow has been pressed and churned individually for maximum payoff so there will be no inconsistencies whatsoever. That is an amazing deal?! I can't believe people are complaining about how expensive it is! I understand some younger makeup lovers not being able to afford it, but you are getting far more than your money's worth with this palette. Not to mention this one palette has everything you need. You don't ever have to worry about getting another palette again (unless you are addicted like me lmao). Hayli Schultz most of the comments I have seen are people who live outside the US the price of shipping is what they are mad at, as its the same price or more than the pallette. For example for me to send to Canada it is $30 shipping ontop of the $38 for the pallette, where as our friends in Australia shipping is $60 dollars plus the price of the pallette $38. I would love to support her but I have to think about the shipping charges which I know she does not control.

In this video specifically, I noticed her neck getting a little red. I remember her telling us in a previous video that her neck would get red when she got nervous, and that's why her neck was so red in her first videos. I finally got this palette because everyone was raving about it and because I could see that you put so much work and passion into it. I think it's great that it's full of warm browns and rusty colors so that I can stick to my comfort zone, but also has a lot of cool shimmers and those blue/purples that push and inspire me to try something new. great job!

I saw the purple and was sure that was the one you'd named "obsessed". It is really hard to get a good purple, and you nailed it. You should spend the next few weeks doing tutorials on this palette. If you think that's too self-indulgent, then you could do a video where you create different looks on some subscribers in your area. Start with the base on and a natural look for the face, then spend about 3-5 minutes on each person creating an eye look. I really hope you'll have fun showcasing this for a while. It's a really pretty palette.

$38 dollars for 35 shadows is not bad at all. Much much much cheaper than any high end palette and same price per shadow as a Maybelline palette. You have to consider the time, money, production, packaging, formula, ingredients, etc. when pricing items. So, not only was there a lot of time, effort, etc. involved, it has her name on it. $10 extra for a palette that has taken years to create along with the articulate personalization, is not bad. The only thing that sucks is that it launches a few days before payday. Boo.

It’s been a while since this palette launched! I will say, Jaclyn, that you lost me for a little while. The fillers and the plump lips and all the new bling and glam was a little overwhelming. But honestly it was my mistake for not understanding that everyone needs to grow and evolve. And boy, did you! I watch this video from time to time for several reasons. 1) I absolutely love hearing the backstory behind every single shade.
