Funnily enough, *Better Than The Movies* hits different when you read it during a hurricane...in the best of ways. Back when Hurricane Ian came through, I had this book just laying around and decided that it would be the perfect time to read it, so I did, and loved every second of it. From the moment the power went out all the way to when it came back on(about a day). There was a whole storm raging outside and I was happily stuck inside being held hostage by romance. It was bliss!

Better than the movies is her best book (also my favorite rom-com). Her other book the Do-over is also really good.

Yay for cozy reading weekends! I just had my own little reading binge this weekend and read "You, With A View", "Never Lie", and "It Ends With Us". I can't wait to read "Better Than The Movies"! I love when books can actually make me laugh out loud because it doesn't usually happen. The first book to do that to me this year was "Happy Place". I cannot wait to read this book because it looks so cute 🥰!

I finally read "The Seven Year Slip" and it was so good...definitely almost cried. "Better Than The Movies" was amazing! I devoured all of Lynn Painter's books after reading that one.

Yes i NEED to read Better Than The Movies... I too have been saying this for months but it still sits in my amazon wishlist instead of my actual Kindle. 🤷‍♀ BTW, 10 Things I Hate About You is my all time favourite movie! 😍and while i am commenting about random things that you mentioned in this video, i too get seasonal depression in Summer (Winter has just ended here in Australia and i soooo desperately want it back already. 😭

First i gotta say i love that bookmark second i saw better then movies when i was at the book store but didnt pick up so might pick it up on my kindle n i just finished my favorite reads ever i dont noe if u have read them yet or not but i read the quiet tenant by clemencemichallon, the last one by will dean, the only one left by riley sager n notes on a execution by danya kukafka these book were so fantastic the writing style was absolutely Phenomenal

Have you read Shatter me series by Tehereh Mafi? I liked it so much that, now, I started to read her new series, This woven kingdom. It's such a slow burn romance in a fantasy book.
