@@turnipswillneverhurtyou3934 Hank's behavior was totally realistic. The cliche is the tragic, noble person who endures his injury without complaint and with boundless optimism. But in reality, when something bad happens to normal pople, they get cranky and they take it out on the people closest to them. I saw it in my own family, when my seriously ill father was a complete jerk to my mom. It was upsetting, but I will never forget what she told me. She basically said "Dad can't yell at his cancer, but he has to take his frustrations out somehow. He knows he can vent at me because I will still love him." Marie is a safe outlet for Hank to express how angry he is about his situation. It isn't pretty and it is not fair, but it is totally normal. It's not that I approve of Hank's behavior completely, it's just that if you compare who is just a bit more justified in feeling like shit every once in a while, I'm going to have to go with Hank. Marie can get over being dismissed for a little while, especially since Hank's "go-to" response to every thing, and everyone is to be dismissive, cocky, & arrogant. 😂🔫🤷♀️🎵 That facial transition @ 18:41 - OMG!!! Mike, Jesse & Walt is at the point of no return - feeling it in their own unique way. I might be mistaken, but I think it's Gus on that call to Walt. Camera's outside his house warned him, maybe? _Diary of a black woman_ & _Waiting to Exhale_ are fantastic examples of ways to leave a man that's messed with you, but Nikki, I just can't see Steven messing with you like that. And that was an awesome conversation of Hank & Marie's predicament. My take on it is half & half - taking some of both your arguments. We already know from when Hank got the bogus call that Marie was in a serious accident that he really, really loves her. Marie is frustrated with Hank, not because she's not happy with the situation, but because she doesn't feel appreciated for her efforts. I've had to care for both my parents before they passed (helping my mom with my dad, then caring for my mom alone - my siblings were useless), so I know how hard it is. The work to be civil to each other MUST be mutual, or it just won't go well. That said, I believe Hanks abuse comes from a man not believing that he will be able to function as a man again. Marie, on the other hand, has hope. Anyway...that's my 2 cents. lol Love, love, love the debate you guys get into. Steven! No, she wasn’t flirting with the physical therapy guy! It’s partly what Nikki said, wanting the guy to stay because she doesn’t want to be on her own with Hank and his mood. But also, if the guy stayed full time, Hank would get back to himself a lot quicker and hopefully stop being a douche to his wife. And may I also say, as someone who was strong, fit, independent before being made disabled by a spine issue (last 8 years laid up), yeah there are days where you struggle to see positives and silver linings, and it’s hard to always be nice to those around you. BUT me being disabled doesn’t give me the right to talk like an ass to the one I love (unless they start it, that’s my general rule lol) especially if they are helping me and were being perfectly nice and kind! Everyone has the right to their emotions and bad days, but be horrible to those you love and those bad days will get a hell of a lot worse. But I do understand that the worst time is when you switch from perfectly healthy to laid up and depending on people. Thankfully I have good days where I’m on my feet. I’d have felt a thousand times worse if I ever needed help in the bathroom. So I do get Hank is in a horrible place. But the thing he should be focusing on is he is actually improving. Not everyone gets that lucky. Oh and emojis 😂 🔫 🤷🏻♀️ 🎵

I learned something new today, that I wanted to share with everyone here. I read that a Danish psychologist named Majken Matzau is speaking up about how she uses TV-series as a way to treat stress, and depression. That shows naturally calms down our brain, because we focus on a whole other world, a reality that is not ours (like reading a good book). Apparently, an American therapist named Bronwyn Robertson has been using this method for years, where her clients through therapy with TV-series, movies and talking sessions, really active their brain, and interest in life. I believe it's called "Cinematherapy".. aaand I think what I want to say with this novel, was that this explains perfectly why some of us are so, uhm...what's the right word... INTENSE when it comes to TV shows, and all these reactions, and discussions. Just wanted to say that we are here together, if you need to hear it, I will tell you that you are strong, you are here, and you are not alone in feeling like you do. Marie trying not to cry broke my heart. Steven pointing out the specific mechanistic reasons for his anger was interesting as these are points I haven't heard before, when I just put it off as a vague existential resentment from the man who had arguably suffered the most in this season. I like how high of a resolution Steven looked at the problem because therein lies the stepwise solution to solve it. It's good to know these reasons. You can really only go one small step at a time with immense situations like this. It really stuck me when Steven mentioned not being able to walk or sh*t by yourself, because that reminded me of my brother in his last few months before dying of cancer. I remember this one time I was talking to my brother at the children's hospital waiting for the MRI while I pushed his wheelchair. There was this little sh*t he mentioned that no one wanted to play with in the play room and the only one by his side was his mother which he shouted at, physically struck at times, and frequently swore at. My brother said that it doesn't matter that the kid has cancer and is suffering a great deal (although still ambulatory). You don't treat the people who love and care for you like that. At that period in our lives, he was the funniest man I knew. He was so quick with funny responses that you'd think these were prewritten lines in a sitcom, when he was going through unimaginable unbearable pain. "No one has the right to do wrong, not even if wrong has been done to them." - Viktor E Frankl in 'Man's Search for Meaning' Nikki & Steven aren't in disagreement fundamentally. They see different components at different resolutions that are both necessary to go through life.

I like how you guys were almost playing out the argument of Hank and Marie. I think neither of you are right though. Marie is being supportive, and Hank is being irritable. Hank hates being vulnerable. Him being forced into this vulnerable state, irritates him. Marie just wants Hank to get better, but she is dreading her job more and more daily. That is why she wanted the physical therapist there, so that she does not have to deal with Hank so much, and Hank has a better attitude toward getting better. Hank himself likes to bury his emotions and insecurities, and he can’t really do that when he is bedridden. I also imagine that part of him wants to go back to work to nail Heisenberg. Both Hank and Marie are sort of at fault, a little more so for Hank, but given what he has been through, that is understandable. If I were in that situation, I’d just be there for Hank when he needs me, but I would give him his time alone; Marie is not that kind of a person though, that is why Hank said, “Get out.” 😂 🔫 🤷♀️🎵

The other thing to remember about Hank at this point is that he’s probably still in a tremendous amount of pain. So he’s extremely cranky and short-tempered. He’s probably not taking all his pain meds, either, he’s probably only taking them when the pain becomes unbearable.

Don't forget, Hank wanted to stay in the hospital and do his rehab there till he could come home. SHE was the one who wanted him to come home. She kinda brought this on herself really

Absolutely loved that debate over Hank and Marie at the end of the video. You guys are real! That felt like a genuine clash of critical thinking and principles. Both of you had great arguments. Won't say who's come out of this as a winner.

I cant tell you guys how great you do with your reactions!! You react, analyze, and give their in depth theories on what each episode means to them and the story as a whole!! Nikki & Steven are the best channel to watch for reactions!! 😂🔫💁🎵

I know y’all have many suggestions of what to watch next and I’ve given some as well. But I mention them when they enter my mind because I remember such great TV shows. So here’s another to add to your list...”Sons of Anarchy” is another great show. It’s somewhat similar to BB. Involves a motorcycle gang that transports drugs and firearms etc. lots of suspense fights, shootings , law enforcement etc. We went from “Sons of A” to “BB”to “Peaky Blinders”. I now mention them because I really like y’alls reactions to these shows. You’re more entertaining than individuals reacting. I think the husband and wife perspectives are great. Y’all can relate to what’s going on just as my wife and I did. Keep em coming!

I actually think they're both handling it realistically. Neither of them are handling it well, but that kind of shit is hard to deal with on both ends. It reminds me of something recent with someone close to me. He was getting super irritable at first, and would lash out. We would lash out back. It was a shitshow for everyone, but tried to remind each other we loved one another. I think that's really something they both could do.

1:12 Gus doesn't *like* to motivate through fear, but he can and will, if necessary. I suspect he also prides himself on self-restraint. He probably considers himself to be a civilized, cultured, crime boss, not a low life street criminal.

You can't really say the trouble Hank & Marie are having right now is the fault of either one of them. They're both being put through more than anyone could be reasonably expected to deal with. Hank literally can't stand to have anyone, especially Marie, see him like this. A big part of it is actually guilt he can't express at being such a burden to Marie, so he lashes out. And while any impartial 3rd party should be able to see that & not hold it against him, if you're the person whose entire life suddenly revolves around caring for an invalid and all you get in return is a cold shoulder at best and outright hostility at worst, no matter how much you love them eventually you're going to reach your breaking point. Life is just really shitting on the both of them right now, and no matter how wonderful a human being you might be you can only handle so much.

People have theorized that Walt has some sort of social disorder, because while he’s smart in strategizing, science, chemistry, business and everything else, he’s never been very good with people and making rational thoughts with general communication. He’s also very egoistical. His plan (or lack thereof) of going to Gus’s home obviously didn’t work and then him telling Mike about getting a room with Gus obviously backfired. It’s very interesting to think about.

😂🔫🤷♀️🎼I agree with Nikki. Hank is being so mean to Marie. Sometimes people treat the ones they love the most, the worst in times like that. Maybe she should give him another hand job. 🤣
@thegametaster1895 жыл бұрын
Man I forgot how much I love that opening scene with the buying of the gun there's so much to love about it the dialogue is on point there's some little foreshadowing when the arms dealer tells Walt that experience cop worth a damn will be able to spot the concealed gun and then later Mike immediately spots it I also really love how Walter keeps repeating the words self-defense Like he's trying to convince himself that's really is for self-defense And in Walters mind it is Walter is the kind of man That can rationalize killing a man because he's might come and kill you at some point As self-preservation and self-defense Unlike Jessie Walt refuses to to accept that he is the bad guy
@OG_Fernando5 жыл бұрын
Walt is a necessary evil. He's truly not a "bad" guy.
@thegametaster1895 жыл бұрын
I don't really agree with that I mean yes he has higher morals then most people on his line of work talking about the drug empire he's a lot more reasonable as well but at the end of the day he's a criminal I mean just at this point alone he has murdered three people that I can think of none of which would ever hold up in a court of law as self-defense
@OG_Fernando5 жыл бұрын
@@thegametaster189 unfortunately the world isn't black & white. I grew up a gang member w/drugs part of everyday life. Trust me when I say this, someone like Walt shouldn't be considered a "bad guy". On the other hand someone like Hank, well he's truly a "bad guy" that most people praise.

Hank was all about keeping his image. But now he has to shit in a bucket and his wife has to clean it after him. Ofc he's embarrassed. Thats why he wanted to stay in the hospital and thats why he's pushing her away now. Also he has PTSD. It mirrors Walters behavior in a way.
@SistoActivitatemAtm5 жыл бұрын
Hank is (1) angry that Marie is witnessing him be (2) emasculated due to his debilitating injuries which is causing him to be (3) ashamed of himself which is why I think he's pushing Marie away. He doesn't want Marie to see him as handicapped, he wants her to see him as a strong hero.
