Think though, Jadis LIED about Rick being a B. She probably is 'sincerely' concerned with losing all she's built for herself because if she knew that Rick was an A, perhaps she knew who Michonne was too. And then there's also the fact that she was at least once attracted to Rick. I think Thorne may be attracted to him now but there's also the fact that Michonne would be _'Competition'_ for the attainment of more POWER at some point. And with her it's also 'Misery loves Company!' _'You can't get to your someone and I can't get to mine!'_ MANIPULATION on both their accounts.

The next episode is Danai's baby. ;) Although she assisted in the writing of the entire series, Gimple tasked Danai with the writing and showrunning of Episode 4, so this next one should be interesting. ;) Danai explained that it is dialogue-heavy, as there is a lot between the two that needs to be said, and particularly for Andrew Lincoln - because she wanted his phenomenal acting chops on full display. :)

@@alaana-maree Not necessarily. Danai said she was done with TWD a few years ago (not recently that I'm aware of). But here she is, back at it. Her, Andy, and Gimple have been pretty tight mouthed so far on additional seasons, but I think that's mostly because they've finally learned a lesson with all of the spoiling done by announcing the spin-offs and S2 renewal for DD way too early. Both Daryl Dixon and Dead City are renewed for more seasons, even though they were also initially announced as limited series. Danai and Andy are both executive producers and writers for TOWL, and so have A LOT of creative control with their characters and the show, unlike in TWD. Which makes a big difference in how actors feel about a project. Plus Gimple has also hinted at further down the line combining all of the spin-offs back into the main show, with possibly eventually doing a season 12 of TWD to tie it all back together. So to me it's looking like there's a strong chance for additional seasons of TOWL. Have to wait and see though.

Another really good episode! You understand why Rick is acting that way, it’s to protect Michonne, Judith and everyone at Alexandria. Thorne is officially a villain. She tried pulling a Shane. That ending was wild. Very hyped for the next episode. Also, I think when Michonne found the artist who drew on the phones, it showed her that Rick never forgot about them or gave up going back home... just couldn't. This is peak Walking Dead.

Thorne (in my arse) clearly can't be trusted. I can't IMAGINE how Okafore thought she was an "A". She's definitely a "B". When she heard about Omaha "falling" she immediately fell in line and resigned herself to the CRM way of life. And pushed Rick to do the same. Okafore's body was barely cold and she got tapped for a promotion and now she's declaring "she's not Okafore...she's a believer". Thorne has shown Rick who she is...and she's got to be taken out.

Beale already knew during Dana's orientation that she was an A. Just like he knew Thorne and Rick were. He allowed Thorne to vouch for her. Michonne, didn't have to pretend because the person who counted already knew. I am calling it that it was Beale who fast tracked Dana up the ladder so that Thorne had to take her along on that mission.

Okay as a US Army veteran that has flown in helicopters I found it dumb when she snatched Rick and jumped out of a flying helicopter Lol. Especially when they were flying through a storm not being able to see if they were over land, a mountain or water what the terrain was and how high they were.

Michonne was the same one that convinced rick that they had to fight during the time negan was in charge over there group with the saviors and everything. Rick wanted to give up then at that time but michonne gave him so much more hops even Maggie along the side . This whole story so far is brilliantly shot and told. Even if it seems like Jadis and Rick are bound together by secrets and convenience there is an underlying ambition in the way Jadis communicates with Rick every single time. How Jadis says "Oh but I am involved" "If She just stayed away this could have all been avoided" "Im sure you did it for her. Im sure that's true, but I wonder if there is something else keeping you here" and finally, the way she shows up and greets Rick at the cascade forward operating base knowing that Michoone was watching, and Jadis looks at Michoone with Rick next to her like "Yea, I took him away from you, and look at us, still together, while your over there" kind of look. It's so subtle, and brilliantly acted. Also last but not least.. When Thorne looks at Michoone as a threat and picks up her rifle and looks at Michoone through the rifle scope I couldn't help but cross compare that moment with that scene in season 1 of the walking dead, when Shane locks in his gaze on Rick in the woods and aims his shotgun at Rick.. With that look of malice, and playing it out in his head on what the story would be he would tell the others if he did pull the trigger. "it was an accident, we heard something in the woods, thought it was walkers and decided to investigate. It resulted in friendly fire by mistake, man.. we need to start wearing reflective vests out here" (Shanes exact quote) Thorne is seeing Shanes perspective on the world since the briefing with Major General Beale. Thinking she knows what the course of action is, and disagreeing with Rick on every front based on a slight difference of opinion based on procedure and who follows whose ideas on how to survive.

I loved the tension building from the start of the episode. The longer they are together in the Civic Republic the higher the risk of them being found out. With Jadis, Thorne and Beale on Rick’s case and him trying to keep Michonne and the people back home safe, the pressure intensifies. Rick is torn, he knows he can’t leave without risking the lives of everyone he loves. The final scene when the pot has truly boiled over, Michonne pulling them out of the helicopter makes sense, she knows in that moment there is no other way. I look forward to next weeks reaction. Thank you for your reaction. Enjoyed every moment.

Fun fact.. I found out where they were filming at in Jersey City New Jersey at Hamilton Park. By the time I got there after work Andrew Lincoln had left.. however I saw the scene of michionne being filmed during the park scene .. I have so many pictures when they were filming and video and pictures of her when she came towards me to go into the van. All I could say was oh my god when she said hello to me 😅 I'm a die-hard walking dead fan.. they filmed the scenes with all the walkers where there was a lot of abandoned buildings five mins f rom my house.. all the trailers were there. Every time I go me and my kids kept missing them. Drives me insane lol . Wish I could send you guys the pictures and videos that I took when they were filming the park scene

@@mp6640 During the Negan war, Jesus took some Saviors as POWs and brought them back to Hilltop. Some of them escaped after Simon's attack on Hilltop failed and Rick and Morgan went after them. Rick and Morgan were jumped by the escaped prisoners and held captive themselves. Rick promised them a place in their community, but after dealing with a bunch of walkers, Rick and Morgan killed those prisoners, along with the one that killed Henry's brother. The other promise that Rick made was to kill Negan and he's been saying that since Season 7 premiere. He didn't follow through due to what his late son(Carl) wrote in a letter he read from him.

Not sure what speed they were flying at, but typical speeds for fuel efficiency en route (straight line between points) would be in the neighborhood of 120-150 mph. At 120 miles per hour, someone saw them 10 minutes ago that creates a 20 mile line in which they could have jumped/fallen. If it's a wooded area as I suspect, even if the weather clears and there is no fog, helicopters aren't going to be particularly useful for spotting them, it would require boots on the ground to find where they landed and track them from there. (Although, first group to find traces reports their location and the direction of travel, helicopters could insert teams to intercept them. But helicopters aren't built for silence) The "Fake your death plan" Rick did that to get Michonne out. She didn't take it, because she wouldn't leave without him. In episode 1, that was Rick's plan, before the girl showed up and ruined it. Rick wasn't willing to blow her up to make his escape. Rick sees killing people as a last resort. Will hold back from doing it, until it is the only option. He's been down that path and doesn't like where it takes him. 33:15-33:25 I will lightly lean in Nikki's direction. Though it could all be headology (a term I picked up from Discworld, which is essentially a large part of psychology, influence the brain to affect the outcome), Jadis did tell Michonne "I lay with him after" Jadis's position of power stems from she didn't have to go through consignment, she got in pretty much straight away, Rick spent a few years in consignment before he finally joined the CRM, she told him the day his orientation was over that she was enlisting, so she joined years before him, and he's risen to the rank of Sergeant Major. But I will refer you back to the territory they are likely in, and the complexities of a manhunt in such an environment, coupled with the time before someone knows they are gone. Assuming (because it is their show, thus neither of the two of them can easily be killed off without a fanbase rage quit) they are alive and reasonably unharmed.100 people can search an area of 10 square miles for days and not find a person who doesn't want to be found. The Civic Republic and the Civic Republic Military aren't sorting strong = A, weak = B, they are sorting Leaders (potential trouble, questioners, potential threats) = A, Followers (Will follow orders, won't make trouble, won't ask the wrong questions, won't incite an insurrection) = B. I think the CRM wants mostly Bs, but a few "borderline As" because eventually they will need new officers and NCOs, but most As, especially prominent As, are a risk. The CR wants all the citizens to be Bs, because they won't cause the trouble As would.

I think with next episode that Rick in someway escapes from michonne. I think then Rick gets saved by the crm, and gets his promotion. I may think michonne escapes and the crm believes they killed her. I think by the end of this season Rick becomes a big wig for the crm, maybe leads his own battalion. Michonne gets back to Alexandria and finds out the common wealth. I think if they do a season two that they’ll could do a war between the crm and the commonwealth

I actually like Thorn's character but I see your point. I think Thorn is playing some sort of a Shane role. I think she's in love with Rick and hates that Rick is so adamant about keeping this random girl around that saved him, I feel like she's angry she wasn't there to save him and usually someone ends up really loving a person if they saved there life... So I think that's where her head is. It wouldn't surprise me if these next three episodes introduces a love triangle, it also wouldn't stump me if maybe Rick and Thorn already hooked up I mean it is the apocalypse and people have needs, they seem very close with each other
