Like, it soars high and then slides up really fast, almost like the notes are double-jumping and, dude, it's such a nice little touch. Great musical lyricism, like the music is straining to reach higher just like Icarus. Edit: you can hear it really well right at the instrumental bit from 5:32 to 5:45

My problem is that they don't really experiment with it, a lot of songs end up sounding the same due to pretty similar riffs and structures... I still gladly listen to them from time to time but I'd personally lose a lot of the breakdowns and honestly, tone down the complexity of the drums a little bit (you're hearing this from a drummer lol)

Vocalist Jonny Davy and both guitarists, Tony Sannicandro and Al Glassman did a side project called "Serpent of Gnosis" with The Black Dahlia Murder bassist Max Lavelle and Deeds of Flesh drummer Darren Cesca with 1126 Records (i have it on vinyl! ) in 2019. Also, last year in spring, JFACs record company (Metal Blade) said they were in the studio! So Um... yeah!
