Sure Djent isn’t technically a genre but wtf else would you call Meshuggah lol. You listed 3 different sub genres for 3 bands that sound extremely similar. People complicate sub genres way too much. If you really wanna call them prog call all 3 “prog deathcore.”(or at least the same sub genre) Thall is a joke kinda the same as Djent. I got the name from old Vildhjarta demo videos. Great name for a genre that so far only consists of three bands. (Probably more but these 3 are the only ones with this specific sound I’ve found so far)

Even completely disregarding the awesomeness of the phone call, you are legitimately the ONLY guy to watch so reactions. You are the ONLY one who does them right. Love others reactions no matter what because they’re all different… but you encase what alot of us isolated metalheads need.

What I love for me is that Kin was my first Whitechapel experience. I adore that album, it is my favourite album. But I had no idea Whitechapel had this rich history and the depth to go this dummy heavy. I've been super enjoying their earlier stuff since I found Kin and I can't wait to hear the new stuff too!

This is the equivalent of a teenage son trying to back a trailer into a tight spot and almost getting it. Then dad tells him to get out of the truck, pulls is forward, back, forward, then back again flawlessly parking it, getting back out, and tossing the keys back to the son.
